Hmm, hadn't thought of that.  Not a bad idea.

And no, I'm not going to forget about the Woodsman or DnG!, I've got plans for them.  I just haven't been able to scratch up an update for them lately, and I still need to finish my turn on berent's succession fort, which happens to run quite slowly on my machine...

I'm just joking with you mate, and, from what I've heard (and read into from berent's responses), it sounds like that fort is an ADD nightmare.  The monument is pretty cool though, I've got to admit.  Anyway yeah, take your time, don't force anything by any means =)

You may be joking, but I'm not.  I really do intend on seeing those threads through to their...  'Conclusions'...

I was like, ha, this looks like a pretty dumb and boring game. I was so wrong. Gentlemen, I have discovered true fun.

Okay, but I really do have quite a few things I need to take care of first.

I wonder how all this would be affected by the upcoming army overhaul...  Once I'm finished with the Roariron turn and get enough updates for DnG! and the Woodsman so that I don't feel bad about them anymore, should I go straight for zombpocalypse or should I wait for the next version?

Hold off 'til armies, imo.

I think you should go straight to zombpocalypse.
Unless armies are within a matter of days/weeks.
oh and just in case you still are considering not doing this ... I'm interested.

Take out [BABYSNATCHER] and the civ will send armies in when they would normally send in baby snatchers. Therefore causing them to siege very early.

Or so I've heard, probably needs testing to make sure.

Right, I've taken out [BABYSNATCHER] and [AMBUSHER].  I haven't done much testing though, I'm putting it off for a little bit.  I am going to be working on it, of course, but just not right now.  Since this thing is so minor as far as the actual modding has progressed, I think I'm just going to put it off until the next version.  I'd rather remake a few minor changes than a lot of major ones.

Here's my current priority list:

Finish the Roariron turn.
Update the Woodsman.
Update Death and Glory!.
Start off "Dead Halls" (new vers.)
Create "Primal World" mod (new vers.)

These are just the major things.  I've got other, smaller things that are laced in and around these.

You could also replace megabeasts with Master Vampires. Give them extra-fast speed (400 sounds nice), [SPECIALATTACK_SUCK_BLOOD:50:100] tag on them. You can also make weaker vampires and give them the [AMBUSHER] tag. Maybe they should be civ leaders or something like that.

Oh and I'm interested in taking a character.

If you want a more general horror flavor rather than strict zombiegeddon, you could add shapeless horrors as megabeasts.  That sort of thing.

Which gives me this thought:
Slaves to Armok:  God of Blood
Chapter III:  The Call of Toadthulu

Hear ye, hear ye, hearken back to the days of old, the days of old, for they have come back among us once more! Let it be known that a new chapter of history is to be written, the dead given rise once more!

Do not fear the start of an age, for the ages come and go, with only the passing of time marking them for what they once were.

Necrothreat rises once more. Hear ye, hear ye!
