2nd Felsite

The Hunter is a good one: He did indeed killed an animal. Maybe he won't be drafted anything else than training after all.

5th Felsite

They are asking for a Sheriff... Well... they asked for one.

(is it too detailed?)

Please, please, put everything together in months. It's utterly boring to read 12 posts, and it looks like you're postwhoring. It's much better if you put all the details of one month in one log.

To convince a Mason to make a blocking wall without trapping himself,

1. Build all but the last segment of wall
2. Order the last segment built
3. Also place walls on all of the squares that are adjacent to the last segment, but on the wrong side (e.g. if you want the mason to stand on the west side, put extra walls on every eastern square)
4. Suspend the construction for all the walls from #3
5. Once the last wall segment is done, cancel the construction for the other walls

Dwarves will try to avoid standing on the site of another pending building while they build an object, so putting suspended buildings on all but one square will force the Mason to stand on that one square while making the real wall.

Ok, so from that I willl have 10 more months. This is the Log.

Falsite

Space time is warped....

Milker is taken by a Fray Mood!

"I need Silk and Rock" I just hope the caravan arrives in time.

We found new, although far, vein of copper and begun to dig. The first source is dangerous due to the wet stone.

Sorry about my crash , I will have to go to sleep. I Need Silk... is it safe to try to find the chasm?

Edzul Uristotad our Carpenter has created a Masterpiece! I shall place it in a hopefully clean Museum. How it sparkles! How much do I wish we have the Silk for our friend's desires!

Oh my! A masterful bed! how I wish I can... Its too good for domestic use! Into the Museum!

Hematite
Business as usual... Holy Armoks' Ass! And Imp! The hunter took care of it and I decided to use them for archery practice: Fortifications and stations them behind it! Lets see them venturing out again!

Yeah, trying to get any silk is probably a bad idea. I think the caravan can make it, but put a guard there anyway.

I'll but the Hunter there. I will continue the log on old post.

If he goes berserk he will find 50 arrows in his face.

Sounds good to me. If you have any spare peasants you might want to start up a marksdwarf squad.

Hey, when I traded in the first year I bought silk.  There's a unit of GCS silk in the stockpile.  Just activate weaving on somebody and add the "weave silk to cloth" job at the loom (I turned off auto-looming).  If you forbid all the non-giant silk first, you can even get a guaranteed GCS silk item, worth huge dwarfbucks!

According to the wiki, Hematite is early summer, so he's played through 1/3rd of his turn.

... no, not really.  There's no such thing as a "Nemisis" in Dwarf Fortress, nor have I ever heard of any program called Nemisis, or a reason why a failure in loading it would stop you from playing Dwarf Fortress.

Is it some kind of error inside Dwarf Fortress?  It may be that you've run into a bug that only affects the Mac version.
