Huh, good question. If only there was a file uploading website that was devoted to DF files...

http://dffd.wimbli.com/

That would work.

finally I have finished my journal entries (feedback please because I suck at writing)

first entry
date-unknown
We are arrived to the place the King told us to go to start a new
dwarf fortress and the king said every year a new dwarf will lead the outpost
I am the first to lead the fortress!

2nd entry
date-unknown
I have lost my calender so I don't know the date
we have started making magma (because there is lots of magma!)
forges and farms

3th entry
date-unknown
we have made the kitchen and the main entrance
the construction of walls are starting to protect our fortress

4th entry
Date-unknown
from the heat it seems that is it summer
and the walls are done

1st Galen
I found my calender
and THE PROJECT has started
(it involves magma)

3rd Galen late summer
Some immigrants have arrived (8)
1 miller
1 bonecraver
1 stone craver
1 gem setter
2 Peasants
1 pump operator
1 wood burner

tragedy of
1st limestone
the miller who is busy fishing notices something strange not so far away
"Newb, there are some wolves coming this way"
"great we feast on wolves meat tonight"
"sir there is a slight problem"
"what is it?"
"there are undead and they are coming towards me!"

 :)

looks good.. but maybe you should have built a farm and a still to stop everyone starving/dying of thirst? hunting for vermin = bad sign

I like operation newb, I did something a bit similar in Ustosagak Nazush except only out of stone not lava..

I did have a still on repeat and a farm but I didn't have anyone to brew the drinks or plant the helmets because I had 7 dwarfs in the military so I just undrafted them and told them to farm and brew drinks

You'd be surprised how many people don't realize this obvious solution.

YAY hope you don't give Newbs quarters to anyone else
Also what dwarf are you going to be?
the gem setter or the miner?

do you mean the broker and manger and the other thing I can't remember?
And also can you let Newb keep his room and train him to be a mighty marksdwarf?
