So, to keep up some sort of discussion going on while we wait for the grand finale, I gotta ask this.

Did you get the idea for turning the story of Nist Akath into an epic tale of dwarvish insanity at some point, or did you have the idea from the beginning?

I mean, it seems that this whole thing started as a "hey guys, I know how to write an amusing story of all the mishaps of our named dorfs who are in a super-evil glacier, who wants to join before we all die!", but at some point it suddenly rises from it's feet of "oh god I'm gonna die but can't stop laughing" and doesn't really care about anything anymore.

So which is it?

It kind of happened on its own when they didn't all die horribly as I'd anticipated.

I saw her as more naive than Xotes or Toralnil, and much less battle-hardened than Bomrek or the Fairsabres. That's why I gave her a ponytail - to me, ponytails make a person look younger.

I'd planned on drawing the Captain, but then I realized that I had no idea where to start. So I'm gonna draw some of the non-main characters first (I'll redo Nagash II in this style) and then work my way up to Ironblood himself.

Ironblood is a dwarf-shaped mass of filth and blood... Good luck with that.

The more terrifying thing is that he's probably mostly naked under his armour apart from say one glove and maybe a vest, knowing how dwarves like to dress

That settles it, I'm only drawing him from the waist up.

*Facepalms* How could I forget? He isn't Ironblood without the vomit and the kitten leather. And it is layers of all the aforementioned filth that make him Ironblood. I believe there have been theories about whether or not the filth is some gruesome armor, whether by virtue of density or psychological  effect on opponents...
