I posted this in the other thread as well, but I'm nearly complete on setting up the ironblood/morul matchup.  I gave both of them their stats and military skills (since I can't find a dwarf with 73 skills to make legendary), and I'm just getting them both equipped now.  I'm pretty sure Ironblood fights in his clothes, but I decked him out in steel chain, since this isn't just a goblin he can punt 20 tiles.  Also, it's been posted in the other forum that morul wears nothing but adamantium (including his socks and shoes), so a lot of cheating later, I'm almost done with that.

I think it'd be more fair to equip them equally. Have them both fight naked, let's see what raw power looks like.

Adamantium is an extremely rare metal. There's one vein, no more and no less, somewhere in every mountainous region tile. It has uber damage and a value modifier of 30 or something. And when you dig the vein too deep... HFS happens. What's HFS? Hidden Fun Stuff. Find out yourself.

Adamantine, Adamantium, Adamantite, Adamant, all of these are names for fantasy metals.  Dwarf Fortress uses Adamantine.  Not Adamantium.

Interesting note: Aside from the bogus fantasy metal "Adamanitum" (or whatever), The word Adamantine (adj) or Adamant is an archaic word for anything really, really hard. InB4 innuendo; harder than that anyway. Look it up.

I believe adamant is actually a jewel of some kind, just slightly less hard than diamond. Someone linked to it on this forum somewhere, a while back.
