Mayoral Report - Lokum Lerommeng, 15th of Felsite 1090
I just got the report about Zangief's apprentice, Tinker Pantlashed. My older brother. I did not know he too was involved in the cave-in!

He died today, from internal bleeding in his lungs, causing suffocation. Father would have been furious.

Marigi died likewise, leaving nobody behind but his best friend, BurnedToast, who still lays in a critical condition.

The human diplomat arrived today! I was so excited, I wanted to take him on my first real diplomatic tour of the fortress!
It's a good thing I checked the fortress over first! The lowest areas was full of clutter. Bits of ore, pieces of furniture that would never be used... the list goes on!

I ordered it all chucked into the abyss.



BurnedToast's Report, 14th of Hematite 1090
I've started getting reports from the workforce. Evidently the mayoress has ordered several tonnes of gold and platinum be tossed into the abyss. Masterpiece samples of our furniture were also amongst the items designated to be tossed.

Unfortunately, I was too late to do anything about it at all. The craftsdwarves are going to be furious!
