Damn, know I feel compelled to find the beat and a microphone... I'm pretty sure I've got or seen that instrumental somewhere.

Just finished catching up with this via the excellent book version (thanks, whoever made that!). Last time I read was about when the Captain fought the hydra, so I had a LOT to go through.

It was all excellent, of course.

In fact I feel.. inspired. Inspired to parody!

On the Wall is a Masterfully engraved carving of Urist McHardcastle and Goblins. Urist McHardcastle is surrounded by the Goblins. The Golbins are stamping on Urist McHardcastle. Urist McHardcaste is laughing at the Goblins. The carving related to the prolonged and bloody death of Urist McHardcastle in the Fall of 1659, the Winter of 1659, and the Spring of 1660. On the engraving is an image of Cheese.

That was awesome. We need to incorporate that into the story somehow.

Goodness me, the new CPU more than triples the FPS from 5 to 16-18.

Captain's Log. 17th of Granite. 1089.
Another year goes by. We received our usual expedition from the woodlands. Kodor met with the diplomat while BurnedToast bought all the cloth from the Elven traders. They load up a few camels with all that and they have the nerve to call our skeletal elk bone trade 'cruelty to animals'.

A large goblin warparty came hot on the heels of the traders. Fireheart took care of a squad by himself, a testament to just how far he's come.
Fleabeard and Viktoria each took care of two squads by themselves, as more or less one may expect.

Mind you, I was attending a party at the time and had no idea about any of this until it was all well and truly over.

Captain may as well rename goblin "raids" to "parties".
