I dunno PC games isnt really a graduation from console, because the console is becoming far superior graphically compared to the PC.

I really, really don't want to argue about consoles and PCs even though that isn't what you intended so I'll say I love them both and lave it at that.

Ah, well, I like both consoles and PC. I own a Nintendo DS and there are some pretty awesome games for it. Also, hoping for an update. A really awesome story!

Consoles are better than pc?

Wishful thinking, consoles are pcs, just specialized to do only one thing. The reason some people see them as better is because they are easier and technically cheaper(though still very expensive).

I expect eventually as time goes on the difference between pc and console will become more and more grey, and we will just have one sort of all use item. As it is now, even the consoles that were once just for games, have started limited net and browsing capabilities. Who knows what the future will bring(other than a crash from bad economy and crazily expensive console items)

edit: oh erm right, lets see... Maybe the Acolyte has a pc?(really bad attempt at non thread derailing)

Okay, I did NOT register just to post in this thread, it's just the second time I've opened my yap... as I sit in awe of the Captain's story-telling skill. Holy kitten-stomping Armok, this was worth slogging through.

I generally prefer PC nowadays, just because of the more advanced options and gameplay, but consoles can still be cool, provided the console actually has a good game

Eventually, PCs catch up to the consoles graphical power, and of course pass them later in their cycle, until the next gen consoles come out.  In fact, PCs were able to surpass a PS3 the day it came out, but was prohibitively expensive.  Now its starting to drop, etc, etc.

One thing is for sure, at least they make PCs big enough to cool the damn things, unlike an XBOX 360, which apparently will suffer heat death if you breathe on it.  But, whatever, they are working that bug out too.

i dont really care what anyone says about the console vs. pc. from my view point the console games will have better affects like speed and graphics because they are made specificly for that while pcs will have better options because you have a whole keyboard to work with instead of just a few buttons. it like really think about how well DF would play if you made a computer specificly just to play it with nothing else. that would be sweet and if i had enough money i would so do it by the way.
