On the whole megabeast/Dragon thing. I was thinking Mayday was referring to when he visited the fort as an adventurer (testing if adventure mode worked or not) that the guard exploded the Dragon.  Would explain things since, to my knowledge, caged animals are freed upon abadoning.

Fact: Mayday said that there was only one megabeast left in the world as of current in the fort.

Assumption: Mayday went into adventure mode at the most recent date of the fort.

Conjecture: The guard killed the last megabeast in the world.

Im pretty sure the Captain has 3 collossi statues in his (now BurnedToast's) office....
Yeah, 3 in his office (they moved to his new office), and 1 in Bomreks office.
