Knew it!

This is indeed true. He's not just saying that.

I had a feeling that's who it was. But that last post just seems to give it all away.

Oh well, :D still interesting to see what happens.

Thanks for updating again Mayday! :)

As it was meant to. Things are coming to a close.

Captain's Log. 17th of Granite, 1088
Today the Elves arrived again, with a rather surprising offer.
For a change they brought warriors with their caravan, and one of them was seen putting down a skeletal polar bear with a spear.
This individual, I was told, was a gesture of goodwill to us. Something of a military ambassador.
His name is Tobin Fallstar, and my brother informs me he is to join the population of our fort to fight alongside our warriors.

An interesting proposal.

A part of the Elven royal family, if such a thing exists, he represents an apology about the skeletal elk and polar bears. It seems that the Elves have finally conceded that these creatures are not beings of nature, and that their extermination is preferred.

At last something we can agree upon. I simply wish they hadn't taken so long to come to this decision. It's only been... what... nearly forty years?

In any case,  I did a psychiatric analysis of him as soon as he arrived, much to his chagrin. I present my notes below.

I, being monumentally thick, don't know who the acolyte is but I don't really want to find out.

I request a dwarf before the end!

Clodpool the jewelcutter/placer.
For, y'know, jewels.
Just because.

Mind you, I was theorizing the crumpets were more than normally addictive as well.  As good as crumpets are, I was expecting any that could get Ironblood hooked to have some *ahem* poppy seed enhancement.

No no no, Ironblood is married to Bomrek. The crumpets come from elsewhere.

Now that you say it... I think I remember who it is. Kinda weird that the Captain's wife was never claimed by anybody (I think).

At this point, nobody would dare claim the Captain's woman.
