Well, I've finally finished reading all of Nist Akath. Horray for being up to date at last!

I'd like to request a dwarf. Not sure what my options are at this point, however.

Ideally, I'd like a hammerdwarf. Sunhammer if male, Starhammer if female. It'd be especially nice if they liked at least one part of the name.  ;D

And good work with the story. It's definitely an epic!

Kodor's smile faded. "Olon, are you still mucking about with that tomb of yours? Gods, man, that thing has claimed lives!"

What *hasn't* claimed lives in Nist Akath, though?

Snow.

Also, I never got far enough for that to happen! Wow! I wonder how it will be implemented in the new releases? Whole empires?

I've decided to leave the Ironblood family otherwise unnamed by the community, since all the current members haven't been custom named beyond having existing names in DF attributed to them.

Speaking of which...

Captain's Log, 24th of Timber

Well it appears my comment about Bomrek being pregnant was, as they say, right on the money.
Today, in the party chamber, she gave birth to our daughter. I was busy helping the rest of the civilians in the fortress clear the rubble out of my tomb.

After some discussion, we've elected to name her Egen, meaning 'Gift.'
Given the prolific nature of married couples in this fortress, I'm sure she'll be the first of many.

that's so sad.  more tragedy to go around.

i suppose the main controlling factor on whether or not Bomrek will survive will be whether or not you actually have to 'kill' ( for game purposes ) the Captain.

Huh? She gave birth. There's a new little Ironblood around. Strange, though, that he and Bomrek have a child only slightly after his brother becomes a father as well.

now it's only 12 years until this child will grow into a strong young heiress

you better lock all doors permanently for 12 years, so she doesn't accidently get eaten by skelks

She's got genes from dwarves who survived in Nist Akath.
She's the daughter of the Captain.
Clearly, this proves that Armok is, in fact, a woman.

Given her heritage, it might be better to say that he needs to lock the doors to protect the skelks from her.
