This thread looks fairly TOTALLY AWESOME, but... it's a hundred and forty-four pages long. I don't really want to read all of that.. could someone sum it up, or perhaps give me a page number to start off, where it's gotten really good, but I don't have to read everything?

What bothers me is not the number of pages, but rather how long it is. I don't really have time to read what probably amounts to a small novel or more, but I'd like to at least understand some of it.

First page, first post now has a link to a pdf with a giant list of only my story posts. Faster than searching for them, I figured.

Say, can I get a description of the captain and any stuff he's wearing/carrying? I'm doing a sketch.

Given his age, the Captain is a mature dwarf, featuring a slightly insane appearance. He wears full steel armour, head to toe, except his left glove which is a donkey bone artifact. He carries an axe.
Everything is covered with mud, blood, and vomit, and occassionally water.

Thanks, this was exactly what I was looking for. Reading the comments is nice, sometimes, but it can get annoying to skip over them when all you want to do is read the story. I'm not sure how I missed it when I read the first post...

Sheesh, less than a day,and this is already one spot from the second page.

If the army arc was here I'd say that we should 'remove' some of these other threads.


Anyway, I'm sure that it'll be epic (as per usual) Captain Mayday! You're an inspiration to us all.


EDIT: Oh yeah, I just remembered! I bought a 2D animation program a couple of days ago. I haven't got a chance to fire it up, but can I ask for permission to start on THE NIST AKATH MOVIE?

I forgot to mention, my animating ability is only ever so slightly better than the game itself. Still, it could show some of the wonders with greater detail. Maybe I'll do an animation of the baths to see how it would go . . .
