Abso-f*ing-lutely incredible.  That'd make any Dwarf proud.

Also, Colossi don't go blind if you pop their eyes out.  They don't really need them, apparently (taken from my experience as an adventuring Colossus named Talos).

Just so you know, hammers are more rectangle-shaped, but still, daymn, man.

It's more rectangle shaped in the game. I think the reason it looks square is because the rendered has different tile dimensions.

Absolutely magnificent read.

Any chance I can get in on the action?  :)

Name: Gimli
Gender: Male preferrably
Job: Any free soldier?  :) If no soldier's available, then any other job would be good.

No no, my dwarf isn't dead.
I mean my first one is, but I got a second one, if I remember correctly.

I don't have a list of player names. Can you remember what you named him?

Yeah, about that...

I could probably go dig the thread and look for my name, but...
Umm...
I'll just go do that, then.

O Nist Akath, a famed and terrible place. No doubt in the comfortable dwarvenhomes of the north, parents threaten to send their naughty children to Nist Akath, to toil carving bones under the diabolical Captain Ironblood.

Can I claim the legendary child? Still named 'fleabeard'  :)  I am not sure if you're going by the list way back when on page 21 so I thought I'd jump ranks.

You can claim her. I'm no longer going by the list when it comes to existing non-military types.

My post in the 37. page seems to have gone unnoticed by the Captain. I managed to send the message on the same minute that Captain did, and my post was last on the page, so no wonder. I'll repost the message:

I still think the story is brilliant and I could take one of the male mason/miners. Or as it states above, so almost anything non-military . I could even take a female dwarf.

EDIT: P.S. Nice tower  :D

Gah, I was looking for that the other day. Totally missed it on my run through peoples requests.

Perhaps you could modify the hammer tower slightly to make it look something like this?:

code:

ÜÜ ÜÜÜ ÜÜ
ÜÜÜÜÜÜÜÜÜÜÜ
ÜÜÜÜÜÜÜÜÜÜÜ
ÜÜÜÜÜÜÜÜÜÜÜ
ÜÜ ÜÜÜ ÜÜ
   ÜÜÜ
   ÜÜÜ
   ÜÜÜ
   ÜÜÜ
  ÜÜÜÜÜ
 ÜÜÜÜÜÜÜ
 ÜÜÜÜÜÜÜ

Edit: missed a word

I like that idea. I'll do that. It'll take a few more blocks, but there's no reason I can't do it by using a few staircases and brave dwarven souls.
