He's doing pretty well. His stats are V. Strong, Extremely Agile, and V. Tough.
He's a High Master Swordsdwarf and Accomplished Armour user. Other skills aren't noteworthy yet.

Well, he just now became a legendary champion, so I'd say that's likely.

Captain's Log. 11th of Granite.
It's like all my birthdays have come at once. And I write that in the driest tone possible.

Today, the Elves arrived, for more trading no doubt. The tree huggers from the 'Holy Clean Seeds' often tell us not to cut any wood.
Not that we have the wood to cut in the first place, but it's the impudence that gets me riled.

Secondly, today the Baroness gave birth to a girl, she immediately named her Zasit, which means Knife. I can't help but think there may be some foreshadowing going on there.

Third, we have two major packs of Skelks roaming the area. I've sent Adalore out to take care of them. Not really a major concern, but a definite nuisance.

From the Diary of Baron Lorn. 14th of Granite.
It had all been so lovely, with lovey and me, and now little Zasit.
But today I was faced with horrors!
First of all, I was walking by the butchers shop when I noticed the lady Xotes slicing off a kitten's head with a butchers knife.
I can't be sure, but I think the poor little thing was still alive at the time. I could have sworn I heard it mew!

I confronted her about it, and she said she was just working as Ironblood had deemed necessary.
I immediately went and expressed my concern to Ironblood about this, and his response was to show me a chart.
It showed dwarf population against cat population. I for one believe that the more cats, the better, but Ironblood appears to disagree.
I asked him if he liked cats at all. He told me 'of course he did, he was wearing two of them right now.'

Naturally, I could bear no more, and left immediately.

My second horror came when I discovered an Elf Noble had arrived and I was the one to meet him. Not that I have anything against Elves, you understand. I just wish I'd had some forewarning.

Captain's Log. 3rd of Felsite.
We received a few more immigrants today. I had a bit of free time between meetings to meet with each of them for a moment.

A particularly notable migrant was the lady Kast, who advised us she had come seeking her cousin Sula. When advised of his death, she immediately requested we add her to the military that she may continue to honour his name.

***Note: Sula got skipped ahead because he was after a female, and this was a close match.

We also received an experienced ranger named Erendor Gearloved. When he asked what sort of game was in the area, I told him about the Skelks and Bonewolves. I said his skills would be well sought in the military. He agreed.

He was accompanied by his friend, the lady Moogel. She was an animal trainer by trade, but preferred to stay with Erendor. She elected to take up the Hammer for our Military.

Captain's Log. 20th of Felsite.
One of our miners, Ilral Tradeshocked, has created quite the work of art (while being damn near naked at the time).

She has created a Gabbro throne, named Worthlessbent. I myself don't think it worthless at a value of 26400 coin.
It's quite morbid, however, because although it's adorned with all sorts of materials, that doesn't erase the fact it has a large image of a dead dwarf mounted on it in leather.

I won't be wanting this one for my office.

Captain's Log. 21st of Felsite.
Today, Nobiger Gim, the Two Rivers of Twisting, has been completed. Given it is merely an aesthetically pleasing bent to a practical project, it was done with little fanfare.
I sent Keller down to open the gates.

Apparently it was quite boring to watch the waters leak out and slowly make their way to the middle of the maze-like construction.

Captain's Log. 22nd of Hematite.
Nok and Nosey have become proud parents once more. This time to a boy they've named Doren, meaning Diamond in the traditional tongue.

Did you see my request for a dwarf or was that glossed over by accident?

Torak, I'm assuming you want a male dwarf, but at the moment I have 3 or 4 dwarves who may be suitable for other things ahead on the list. I only get about 3 dwarves a migration now, so I'm doing my best to cater for everyone, and because some people have also requested personality features, it adds another layer of decision making. Please be patient.

You are far too kind, Captain.

May Kast serve you better than two Sulas and protect the glory of Nist Akath with her life.

Speaking of a completely different subject, have you crafted a highly decorative suit of armor for Ironblood's tomb yet? A true dwarven hero should always have a special suit of armor reserved for his/her visit to Armok!

Quite frankly, it's far easier to simply buy items of that quality. But what with the lack of a Dwarven trade representative, since he died long ago, I can't simply order them in.
