The Journal of Mayor Lokum Lerommeng, 2nd of Granite, 1091
Ah, the new year! This marks forty years for the fortress!
I must send the Captain my congratulations!

The young Catten is said to have finished the work she was doing.
She's made a native platinum bed dubbed 'Swaytouches the Tails of Wildness'... seems something was lacking in her upbringing. It's studded with gold, adorned with hanging rings of cat leather, and menaces with spikes of platinum and cat leather.
I looked it over and found an image of a toad in platinum, an image of dwarves travelling, in morions - apparently this relates to the founding of our fair fortress. Also, an image of mountains in cat leather, an image of a dog in willow, and an image of a dog in cave spider silk.

We valued it at around one hundred and ninety thousand! Very good. The only thing is that when I went back to organise having it moved somewhere safe, it was already gone!

Captain's Log, 2nd of Granite, 1091
I got a new bed!

That made me laugh so hard.

It reminded me of that thing with Ironblood, BurnedToast, and the Black Bronze items.

Seems about time to post Ironblood's information again.
First, his stuff!
Owned Objects: 99
Holdings: Royal Throne Room, Royal Bedroom, Royal Dining room, Grand Mausoleum, 7 chests, 5 cabinets, 7 weapon racks, 5 armor stands.

Next, his DC stats

Finally.... his inventory.
A heavily worn mule leather coat.
a worn hoary marmot leather coat. (that's right, two coats)
A worn pigtail sock on his left foot (yeah, he only wears one sock. Two coats and one sock.)
Some worn pig tail trousers.
Steel chainmail, steel helm, steel low boots, steel gauntlets, steel greaves, steel shield, steel battleaxe.
An exceptional cat leather backpack.
a worn, but quality leather waterskin, made of one-humped camel leather! Fancy!

Now the mess and grime!
Dwarf blood on: Upper torso, lower torso, head, upper leg, left lower arm, throat, right ear, and his fourth finger of his right hand.
Elk blood on: Head, Left eye, Right ear, third and fourth fingers of his left hand, first finger of his right hand.
Random, unattributed blood on: both eyes, both ears, his nose, his mouth, his head, his throat, entirely coating both hands, and finally, both feet.
Mud: His entire head is encrusted in mud, as are his hands, and his feet.
Vomit spatter covers: His entire head, and his hands, and his feet.

I will note that apart from dwarf blood, which is probably his own, he is entirely clean on his limbs and torso.

Heh.  I was half expecting the disappearance of the platinum bed to have something to do with the soulsmith, which made the captain's comment on the bed even better.

I keep thinking 'Aerosmith' every time someone says 'Soulsmith'.

Mud: His entire head is encrusted in mud, as are his hands, and his feet.

I'm imagining a dwarf with spheres of mud for its hands, feet, and head.  Blood is leaking from the eyes.

Awesome, Ironblood is so epic he only needs one sock and never feels the need to clean himself off.

But...!  If he only has one sock, and no shoes, then what is that goblin always polishing?

also, apparently Ironbloods an aspiring comedian. But far better at intimidating. As is right.

Oh sweet Armok, I can imagine Ironblood at the dining hall's amateur night:
"So I was killing some skelks the other day when I see this bone on the ground. I go to pick it up and, lo and behold, right there in front of me was the skeleton of some poncy human! ;D"
"..."
"You didn't find that funny?"
"..."
"YOU DIDN'T FIND THAT FUNNY?"
"... *cough*..."
"FIND IT FUNNY!"
"ha...ha...heheh..."
"That's better."

Well, at least now we know what happened to Elvis. ;)
