Yes please!

Uh, going on 40, actually.  He's in the 40th year now.
Which increases the awesomeness fivefold.  ;D
Indeed it does.  If not far, far more than that.

The story of a band of exiles, removed forcibly from their mountainhome by a corrupt usurper.  Rith Medtobikal seeks to turn his frozen home into a new monument to the true king's line in defiance of Nish Roadreined (the "ignoble noble").

I'd be happy with everything, although some outside veiws'd be nice. With a migrant in the background saying "What the hell was I thinking?"

Aren't Rhesus Macaques actually whales?
They're actually a special ore. Instead of being mined, they're hunted from between the trees and instead of producing metal, they produce food: rhesus pieces.

This thread seems slow and sluggish. What's going on Captain, problems in real life? We need the details! Not in depth, obviously, we aren't trying to steal your identity or anything. Incidentally, what's your social security number? And your mother's maiden name?

View of the outside, from one of the towers.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The intricately styled floor in the keep.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Immediately beneath the keep, a giant shaft!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

This is the training room. There is ample room for everybody.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

From the catwalk in the big waterfall room. Currently the water is turned off.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

This will undoubtedly be one of the more difficult parts of the tomb trail. That lake of water needs to be drained. To do that, you need to swim down and up through a hatch into a control room.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Time for a relaxing bath.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

And here's the stairwell of sorrow...
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

A far more impressive view of that giant waterfall room.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Another day at the office... followed by a relaxing swim in the office pool.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Then maybe we can take in a show at the arena?
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

A walk along the patrol routes near the catapult areas... how lovely.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Where we are, there'd be a statue. There would be statues everywhere.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Just another one of the megaprojects. This is the large constructed pool. You'll recall somebody died in here once and I had to flush the pool to get the body out, resulting in the general tomb area being partially flooded.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

A-maze-ing
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

And finally, a dollhouse look at the tomb. Going inside didn't give me a very good view. Sarcophagus goes on top of that central spire.

Yay for update!

I have to say, though, I didn't realize exactly how hammery the hammer tower was until now that I've seen it.

Okay.  That has to be the best visualization tool yet.  Does the place Great Justice (rather than just mere justice).

To truly do it justice, you'd have to compare the visualizer images with the actual save file AND any sketches that have been done, then model the whole thing in 3DSmax or Blender.

I've just gotta say, this is a truly epic dwarf fortress. It brings a prideful tear to my binary data eye: :'(. Not my real eye, though: :P.

Way to go, Captain. ;D

And this from Mr Tk which is in proper document formats with pictures retained. Mr Tk has added a few notes to this with the spin that the documents were recovered by a book collector and had annotations written on them as he studied them.

Those links from the first post are dead. Having most of the story and pictures available in an easy-to-read offline format would be nice. Even if those files are an abandoned project, could someone upload them to a place where they won't be lost, like DFFD? Thanks!
