well, keep in mind that Ironblood once DID receive s brain damaging injury. I think from a polar bear

Yeah, it was a brown brain wound. Does he still have nervous damage because of that?

I cleared it because I needed him to make friends with the other soldiers by sparring. Prior to that he was already halting goblin sieges by himself, so... not really cheating in my book.

If anything, he was probably giving all the lower ranked dwarves spinal wounds of their own :P

I have a really strange request.

Can I claim an elf (or dwarf transmogrified into an elf, like the new Consort.) when you next see them? Preferably I'd like to see them trained as a Swordsman (whichever you prefer).

Name: Tobin Enothila(FallStar.)
Profession: Swordself
Gender: Preferred Male

Ideally I'd like his backstory to be as such:
Tobin is a gesture of goodwill to the dwarves of Nist Akath. An Apology, of sorts, for the early aggression that the elves and their elk allies caused against the fortress. The elves have sent an ambassador to permanently reside in Nist Akath. The elf chosen for this honor was the youngest son of the oldest druid, one who is logically unable to be required to take up the role of head druid (having the families of all of his sisters and brothers ahead of him) and yet one who still had a tie to the ruling caste of the elves.

Either way, now that he is here... in this frozen wasteland, he had best make the best of it. Preferrably by carving up some goblins.

Nist Akath is where the Elves send people they don't like. because people die in Nist Akath children. If the Madness doesn't get you then the bath sure will. or the food.

It does have its highlights though:

Like the road made from the bones of slain foes.

Or the spiral staircase of suicides. Red fireworks aplenty!

Don't forget the massive tomb for the dwarven equivilent for a god.

Then there is the standard stuff: a giant tower in the form of a hammer, battlements inbuilt into the hillside, siege engines of death (Complete with bunkers!), at least 4 permanent goblin-camps-that-are-there-for-no-real-purpose, Undead roaming the wintery wastelands and the occasional visit by some superpowered version of a megabeast.

All in all, a pleasent trip if you don't fall foul of the goblins.

And yet another one who's joined up just to blaze away with generic praise! Whoo, we must be breeding. Anyway... an impressive thread, Captain Mayday, and an even more impressive fort.

Speaking of socks...I recently got killed in Captain Mayday's Legendary Lands mod. By a gargoyle. The gargoyle killed me with my own left sock. Blew me to pieces
A spooky coincidence.
