it will either be cool, or it will end like it ends will all adventurers. For some reason an enemy manages to get a critical hit. With all the hardcore champions running around in Nist Akath we keep forgetting how easy it is to kill a dwarf who isn't legendary+5 in several skills

Actually, we're going to be placing events as a backstory for a new character, set in the far north. So Nist Akath won't require an abandon, I just need to make a new map.

I will use DC to simply clone particular members from one game to another.

I can only really determine who will arrive after the character causing the shift in story by running the backstory and see who survives.
That said, people can claim meat shields. And I don't plan on using drunks, either.

Are you already taking volunteers for the Adventure mode? If so, dibs on a Dwarven Archer.

Oh man, this is epic.  Once this is over and done with, you should compile it into an E-book or something.  (Free) And make it so it is a hand-out novel to people new to DF.

Someone should do that for boatmurdered.

it's safe to say that boatmurdered is a safe way to show how everything in DF can go wrong so easily, Nist Akath is a way of showing how easily things can go swimmingly.

I'll take a swordsman if you manage to get one in adventure mode.  Human with a two handed sword preferred but I'll take anything that isn't an elf or goblin and has a sharp slashy implement of death.

Name:Fred(M) or Sue(F)  Unless those names are taken of course. I kinda lost track of the registered names so far.

Yeah, that is how I read boatmurdered, I meant like... novelized kinda.  That is just an archive of the thread (probably with some posts removed of people commenting on it that wasn't relevant to the game.)
