Captain's Log. 9th of Opal.
I saw Zasit today. Despite the Hammerings, she looked well. She also looked happy.
Evidently, some good sense had been beaten into her, and she was glad to be free and back at work.

The loss of our Baron and Baroness will no doubt cause a replacement pair to join us in the near future, but for now we are mercifully unharassed by Nobility.

I still have trouble believing that the Hammerer is uninvolved. There's also the possibility that Duncan the Tax Collector is also involved.
Based on this I have selected my oldest colleagues to help me keep track of them, see if they're doing anything suspicious.
Bomrek has been keeping an eye on Archibess, while Xotes has been keeping an eye on Duncan.
BurnedToast has been far too busy for surveillance work, however, as he is currently overseeing the major projects of the fortress.

** Just a note on the new Baron and his consort.
I'm planning on using them to fuel the story, so they will not be available.
However, on their arrival, I also plan for there to be a bit of a change in scenery.

This is mainly for story purposes, but given that it will feature exactly 3 of the characters in Nist Akath, it should allow for me to take on some more of you as named dwarves, or even humans or elves. You'll know more of this when it eventuates.

Yay!

May I have a character named Sandono then?

He has clones, you see.

I am pleased, for I now have a character here! Naturally, he hasn't done anything worth mention, though. He's probably in the barracks sparring with someone. I wish  him good luck, and may he carry my name well!

Also, epic thread. I am waiting on the edge of my seat for whatever new changes might occur.

Yeah, but I'll put anybody else who has never had a dwarf before ahead of you. Not that there could be that many of those left.

Could I have a dwarf?  If male, name him Mell, if female, name her Mel (male preferred).

I don't particularly care about the profession.

Hmm....  I don't suppose DC allows for "unusual" recruits in adventure mode, does it?...

Actually, what can it do in Adv. mode?  I recently got a copy that worked for me, and I'm itching to try and find out A) What it can do, and B) How I can make it do it.
