Hush you. It's much more fun to talk about the possibility of Bromek an Ironblood having childern. I could imagine they would start a whole new breed of dwarf by now. One that has a tag called [crumpetcarn] and starts off with damblock. ^-*

Or other such inane drivel while we wait.

Also, bumping Nist Akath is the least we can do for such a story.

Indeed.   A Bomerek Ironblood child would be a fearsome thing indeed.  It would be born with Legendary Cabinet Wielding, and a Beard so strong it could crush rocks!

Yes, her bear would definatly have a telekinetic mind of it's own in which do deal out powerful wrestling moves and mining without a pick.

I think the domain ironbloodfacts.com is free, if everyone feels like setting up a website   :)

WRT bumps - it helps the new guys to spot the thread.

But what do I know?
Everything I say should be taken with atleast 1 tsp. of salt, and another liter of Dwarven Wine is recommended.

Wouldn't it be great if their child was afraid of fighting and instead was a soap maker?

Have you EVER heard of a soap maker that wasn't instantly drafted? :P

One of these days I will, for the first time ever, make soap.

Keldor needs an update of Nist Akath to get through the working day, and has gone without one for far, far too long.  D-:

Anyway, just popping in to say how awesome your story is!  The gabbro cabinet was priceless.  Though it's probably priceless anyway since it's an artifact... hrmm...

Ah yes, here's the engraving from my current fortress that appears to be about Nist Akath...

Engraved on the wall is a finely-designed image of a dwarf and a Gabbro cabinet by Unib čzumedtűl.  The dwarf is raising the Gabbro cabinet.

Ah, Nist Akath is so awesome that it is already integrated in the legends of every world even though that feature hasn't been coded.

Okay guys, I'm back now, as of today. Look for an update within the next 36 hours. Quite possibly within the next 12, but no promises there.

Yay!

I'm another in the long line of people who downloaded DF and registered on the forum largely because of this community fortress. I'd just like to make my appreciation known. Long live Ironblood! May glare melt flesh from bones!
