If you're letting replacement nobles into the fort and are putting them up for grabs, I could go with the next Baron/Baron Consort, whichever you get. Name: Taalen

Unless, obviously, there's a reservation already, or you have other plans  :)

I hope you have a book in the works? Something as epic as Nist Akath needs a novelization!

May I ask, how/where you turned it on??
I made a search in the forums and the wiki for combat logs and all information I could find was, that it has been discussed but not implemented yet, though the video of Ironblood slaying the Hydra shows that it has to be possible.

Which I believe still doesn't work with 38c, however someone made a standalone combat-logger-turner on-er (yeah lots of ers)  I think it is version independent, but I don't know if you can toggle it on and off like in Dwarf Companion.

The stand-alone combat log does indeed work with 38c.  I'm not sure if it toggles or not, though.  I didn't try it.

Now, on to other matters.   I know it wouldn't exactly fit in, but Nist Akath is the only fort that I know of that would be able to set this up.  I had a vision of a masterful dwarven champion, the nigh-invulnerable kind, being dwarfapulted into the center of a writhing mass of goblins in a small room and obliterating the crowded goblins in a shower of blood and gore.  This came about when I was starting to think of how there's nothing quite like a well-aimed crossbow bolt, and instead thought of how there's nothing quite like a well-aimed dwarf.

A few cage traps, goblin siege or two, one 11x11 pit stacked with enough captured goblins that they're forced to crawl over each other, and one drawbridge set to raise in the fateful direction.

I didn't think that hydra could be much of a problem.

I only imagine a hangover making Ironblood more.. focused.

Incidentally, for all the Acolyte's ambitions to immortality as a right hand of a god, it does not seem to occur to her that Ironblood is virtually an immortal messiah himself.

I could quite seriously imagine such a character entering the history of Dwarf Fort officially, so that in far future campaigns nearer the dwarven year 2000, people remember Ironblood as something of a mythological hero in the mold of a hercules or achilles.

Nist Akath needs a book indeed. And the detailed reports of which body parts ended up on what engraving in the SoS are a must.

Perhaps a triology:
Part 1: Up till Dirty's death.
Part 2: Starting at Dirty's death and ends with the arrival of the acolyte.
Part 3: The rest.

Even if the fort goes on after that, books will not be able to contain the sheer awesomeness of Captain Ironblood.

The Shaft of Sorrow as a fortune telling device... heh...

I just imagine IronBlood battling a reborn God on top of the Hammer Tower and I drool...

I'll not be able to update this for slightly under a week. Going on holiday.
Also, suffering a fair bit of burnout.

Looking forward to cooling my heels a bit, and coming back fresh.

Heh, have a good one mate.  Chill for a while, it works quite well.  Start an adventurer and start smashing stuff to bits without having to write about his every move, and then feel perfectly free when he dies.

Or, y'know, alternatively, do something in the real world.  I've heard that works.

Search function allows you to find your old threads as well. How about *NOT* bumping this, and when it appears on the first page again, that means something new happened? It's a strange concept, I know. But trust me, it will work!
