One of the other people in the pit decides to tell a little story about how "ham" means "meat from the leg" and so "turkey ham" is perfectly acceptable - it's just another type of ham.

Fortunately a demon emerges from a pit, devours him, burps, apologises, and returns from whence it came.

All this passes Snoopicus by, as he focusses on the sandwich, and is just about to bite into it when...

Some idiot overseer decides that letting the entire ocean out into the pits will wash the demons away. Little does he know that poor Snoopicus is down there.

suddenly everything around him starts moving extremely slow. Dogs are standing in place! !!*Toothpick*!!s are flying slowly, taking several seconds to move anywhere! Snoopicus realises the processor must be freaking out trying to simulate the fluid dynamics of draining an entire ocean! He takes this slowed down time to ponder biting that delicious ham sandwich he's been holding when...

The cleaner jumps into the lava, armed with a broom, and is vaporised into a puff of smoke and ash.
3 other cleaners commit suicide in this way before Snoopicus...

Snoopicus heads down to the booze supply, sandwich still in hand, figuring a good swig of dwarven rum would melt the ice holding his teeth together. Unfortunately, he remembers only too late that the booze stockpile exploded earlier today in one of the amazing random events surrounding his quest to consume the delicious sandwich.
Undetered, Snoopicus decides to rub the sandwich against his mouth in despiration when...

...a handy heat source arrives, in the form of a Dragon. After spending 5 minutes trying to mime "Please melt the ice welding my mouth shut so that I can eat this delicious ham sandwich", Snoopicus gives up on charades and looks for something to write with.

Meanwhile, the Dragon spots the sandwich, and...

He thinks : 'There must be a way to undefine the sandwich's boiling point, and turn it into liquid, so that I can drink it'
