A troll ambush came, then Mastahcheese2's corpse went into a martial trance and fought them.

It kills 1 and cripples another, pretty good for a corpse.

That huge corpse pile outside is still fighting itself, by now it just looks like one huge lump of gore.

I disbanded the military. There is no point fighting we will just die. Besides, we need the labour. There are hardly enough forumites to run a proper fort.

I just noticed, we have no farms. Good thing we still have plenty of food and drink.

As long as me and BFEL are in the military, it's all good! We need the two greatest warriors and we're ok! Just send me after the Threadromancer and everyone else (BFEL) as meat sheilds to the thread zombies. Before we do tihs, make sure BFEL is a werebeast, we need that bugger to be a force greater then I

We need the manpower to forge weapons strong enough to fight back... Thats priority #1

#2 is we should make a catapult battery to take care of everything that comes in range of the fortress! Also we should find a way to weaponize the magma... Like boatmurdered except we could shoot it like a cannon with pressure!

They can fly you know. Our courtyard is wide open. That is a terrible combination.

Step 4: Adamantine everything-proof retracting drawbridge, buildings can't be destroyed from above. Dwarves can pit prisoners without lifting
the bridge. Demons cannot escape. Before breaching tube, make it so only exit is via bridge. The one to breach the tube should preferably be the dwarf version of the current overseer for maximum drama.

Step 6: Pit enemies straight into hell to get torn apart mid-flight by hordes of flying demons.
