Mohayiga+harbour: Metropolis : 140
Eientei: city : 114
Murakami: town : 105
Makai : city : 112
Divine shrine : cloister : 10

Makai, Murakami and Eientei each send out one settlergroup to expand even more this turn.

--------------------------------
As the tengu began to approach the city at the horizon, they made out a small camp at the riverbank. In it there were strange, fox-like creatures, walking on four legs. They were relatively small, and if it wasn't for the fact that they were wearing clothes, the tengu would have passed them for animals raiding an abandoned camp. They were carrying weapons.
But surely, they wouldn't attack a diplomat, so the tengu landed and greeted the strange creatures.

"Hail. We are messengers of the awe-inspiring wheel of fortune of the Tengu, ruler of the southern hemisphere. We came to negotiate trading allicances with your people. I ask you for permition to visit your lord."

Merceli had been the first to noticed them winging down, his two solid years of hunting and scouting in the area around Aveceleba alerting the hunter to the presence of the strangers. "Above, Strangers." he called out, drawing his bow with a practiced motion and melting into the forest as the tengu approached.

The remaining four soldiers turned about, readying their weapons as the eight tengu landed. Their leader, wearing the uniform of the town gaurd for Aveceleba, watched these new arrivals with a guarded expression, his face lighting with interest as they spoke with a heavy accent in the common tounge.

Noting with care the patrol leader noted the position of each tengu, his eyes quickly assessing their strengths, weapons, and positions. At once he dismissed atacking, not that he had any intention of starting a fight, but moreso he had no intention of starting a fight there was little hope of winning. Even with skills of the conscripted caravan gaurd aiding them in combat, it was unlikly that they would win.

With care the patrol leader replied, "We are a detach of the Aveceleban forces, patrolling this region in response to a battle that took place on our southern border recently, causing severe damage to the forest. Were your people involved in that battle?"

"Yes indeed. A race of dog-demons unrightfully claimed our land as theirs and attacked our villages. But under the command of Lord Madara, voice of the one and only true godess, lord of the mountain were sky and earth become one, conquerer of the south, we repelled their attacks. We pushed them all the way back into their home town and sieged them for a whole year. The camp of our army was hidden in the forest, so the dog-demons set it on fire in hope to destroy us with their wretched tactics. However, we were able to escape the forest fire and continued our attack. As we were finaly about to defeat them once and for all, they fled and turned their own city into a bomb, with devastating results. These wretched dishonorable creatires are aggressive and dangerous, we advise you not to trust them. They have no honor and that is reflected in their battle tactics. Before you will even know that they seek war with you they will probably poison your river and steal your infants and then accuse one of your allies to bring confusion and break trust."

The leader of the diplomats spits on the ground.

"Curse them"

--------------------

((Most of this is, of course, a blatant lie. But since the Vulpians don't know anything about the cause of the war and the forest fire, they have no reason not to believe it))

OOC: Oh... It seems i forgot to move Hjolf as you said. And Hrafn hasnt noticed any tradeboats since i figured sometime ago that the small v:s on your roads were trade caravans. I applied that to riverboats too. But if there were boats on the river, Hrafn and the bodyguard would stay out of sight. They do not want that the settlement will be informed of their coming before they are there. Also, Hrafn uses forced march again, and as such is very near to lilabeleca.

Hrafn stopped on his heels from run. Lifting his hand he motioned the bodyguard to stop too. A distant murmur of a settlement was now possible to be heard, and Hrafn was quite sure they were too spotted by now. He lifted his helmet from his head and gave it away to one of the bodyguards.
He then begun to walk towards the direction of the noise, the bodyguard formed a halfring around him, front open.

Hjolf was running as fast as he could to reach Hallr in time, since he was sure that by now Hrafn would know of the existence of vulpinan town, and by everything he knew about the greatest of their kind, the vulpinans wouldnt like his attention. Not one bit.
Hjolf stumbled over droppen rotting branches, past trees and stumps with the forest passing around him in blinding speed as he ran towards Hallr, the outpost he had named by his own father. Somehow he knew he wouldnt get there in time but  Curse the grand god he would try! His thoughts stopped to wonder what had made him like this, caring about the fate of other beings, so apart from others of his kind. Shrugging his shoulders he guessed it was old age and the wisdom that came with it.

The whispers seemed to take over in Cennas mind, telling her exactly what to say.
"Greetings to you aswell sir, i have been fine, though the trek across the land was exhausting and..." at this point the small portion of mind Cenna still controlled rolled in "Not without it's dangers..." The whispers took control yet again, a slightly anger tune in them now "But nothing i couldnt deal with. Homever, i suppose that my friend Graed told you that i left to visit this unknown settlement near the river. Well, the occupants were friendly and i was welcomed with hearty smiles and the smell of good food. I took my time there"
Cenna smiled a somehow hollow smile and continued.
"Now, since Graed has already been here i suppose all the deals have been made and im bit at loss what to do... Might i ask you about any interesting places and taverns i could visit here?"

OOC: In case you are wondering what Hrafn looks like heres some description:
He's clad in black full platemail armor of some unknown but hard material. He is about 11 meters tall, quite strong looking but not as stocky as many of the giants are, his actually rather thin(in giant standards).
He has a gaunt face which has a single small scar in his left brow. His nose is rather long and is a bit curved. He has a black hair that is long and unkept, and also long black beard.

Finally, the road project was done, and all Al'Qwat settlements connected. Ferrum could go back to mining, now that Orion was on his way. But first, he had one more important responsibility. The communications with the unknown entity were not going as well as planned. Not because of what the entity sent, but because of Abro almost going nuts and firing everyone. It had taken a week to convince everyone to work together again, and now he had to check on the progress of the messages.
On top of the tower, he was releived to see that no-one was trying to kill the other. Greeting Abro, he got right to the point, "So how are the communications?"
"Oh, great, if you want, you can check their last message, I wrote it all down," replied Abro, pointing to the corner of the roof.
Ferrum turned, and saw a towering stack of metal sheets, atleast 3 meters high. "What, did they send you their whole collection of encyclopedias?"
"More or less. I think they are expecting something similar from us."
"Ok, great... I'll leave you to it, then."
Ferrum hurriedly went back down the stairs. He certainly had had enough paperwork in his last year of work, and certainly didn't need to help them wright a whole dictinary. Atleast, not if he wanted to remain sane.

==========================================================================

The message to the !!elves!!:
"We too wish peace for both are civilization. We are the Golems of Al'Qwat...
((Basically, they right down something similar to all the information I have already posted about golems...))
"We hope to be able to meet you face to face someday, and we also hope that our civilizations may grow and prosper together in peace and harmony."

((The message is sent with great care, so that the beauty of it rivals that of the !!elves!! message and maybe surpasses it (after all, golems DID invent it and thus know better than anyone else about the code) but in the usual golem way, it is sent a bit slowly, about one third speed of that of the !!elves!!))

==========================================================================

((Doing this again...))
((
quote:
"Probably in a few weeks we will have the volunteers with a basic understanding of your elven and ready to go." The priest said

I assume then the negotiations are over and that Fothacema together whit lots of Dracon will set of towards Efil-inira next turn?))
((Some randon and probably inacurate prediction/idea:
there seems there might be forming two large wery close alliances, that will most likely be rather bound together wich eachother to. golem-!!elf!!-zefie-posibly Dracon and Vulpinian-Ipetian-Roshani.
There might end up a third "alliance" by races conquered by the Tengu, if their eastern conquests go better than the western.
Not even a suggestion, just a theory of what seems to be happening.))
((wait, spring turn was announced NOW?
Well, actually good because I get time to communicate more whit the golems.
Does this mean I should make no turn today as I posted my this turn yesterday?))
((Strife, the !!elf!! has a name.
Also, I am curious to hear how he has affected production and architecture?
Also, you might want to take more initiative whit contacting the !!elves!!, you could buy some really cool weaponry, and it would be welcome for your peple that has once been a tech civ to get back some of that lifestyle.))

After receiving the information about the golems the answerer came soon:
"Our prosperous future is no longer a hope, it's a fact! You are beautiful creatures if your information is correct and I cant wait to meet you, and you may excuse me if I even less can wait to design you!

Now when we have our formal alliance we can talk in a less formal manner, I am Ilecaaye, master designer of this city, and I have some great plans betwen us alredy!
But first you must certainly have some questions..."
((My version: they talk for a long time every night and both civilizations get to know everything about the other (the stuff before was just a few hours summary) plans are made and such, maybe Ilecaaye get to talk whit someone other than Abro.))
((The reasons for the spendings being beautiful was not great care, but higher tech combined whit artefact sender and artefact software resulting from the citywide fey mood before.))
((If someone have been wondering the whole procedure of sending and receiving is done by automated machines, Ilecaaye is sitting far down in Ariquemera or in his residence on top of the tower and using what basically works like a DOS IRC client.))

((heh, but I am severly crippled in the east. Both Captain blood and Gaulgath have left the board, so i cannot properly interact with them. If no one objects, I will simply completely conquer them, without any of the whole send-strategies-to-a-volunteer hassle. One who isn't playing in the first place can't lose. The last turn Gaulgath took was turn 13, and since then he hasn't appeared and left without an explanation, so I assume he simply forgot. And captain blood won't be returning anytime soon either. So all I can do is treat them like NPCs, and NPCs always lose.

Any objections against conquering them completely without much loss ?
I could go after the Koneko and the Pringers could whipe out the Drogar (for iron ore or something))

Discussions thus continue for atleast an hour every night, mostly with Abro and Ferrum (since they are the two most important figures currently in Alchemia), but sometimes other golems communicate just out of curiosity, asking questions about society, the 'outside' world (as in outside the desert golems live in currently), maps, ect... No important discussions about agreements/tradings/other such stuff are made, because Orion Primus, the leader of all the Golems of Al'Qwat, is still on his way. He'll be here in a few months (next turn). But the golems do mention that one of their greatest priorities is finding other lost golems and golem tombs, and would appreciate any help to finding them.

OOC: Well, if you plan to conquer them, i suggest that when the attack comes from your side someone will takeup the otherside, makeup some feeble strategy(or good one if you want), and put up a small fight. Just for the sake of story and interesting stuff to happen.

(( I will of course make up a story, The thing is that I want to completely overwhelm the enemy and deal with the whole thing quickly and without much losses, as this would only stand in my way of actually interacting with other civs))

((I agree whit Akroma, she can do the justifying RP good enough.
Besides, the huge alliances forming in the west needs a worthy opponent.))
