"Steady, keep it steady," ordered Riet as as he and over 80 other Ipetians moved the huge monolith up the long ramp and into position. "Ok, break...NOW!" The Ipetians scrambled away as the stone tilted over the edge of the ramp and slid down into the deep hole that had been prepared for it. It fit nearly perfectly. "Alright, good job everybody, now hand out those ropes." Half the Ipetians took the ropes and threw them over the top of the pillar. Through some tricky rope work, and a great deal of shouting and pointing, they finally arrayed the stone directly up and down. Once this was completed, the rest took shovels and filled in the bottom of the hole with packed dirt. As the last shovelful was placed, and the ropes loosed, everyone let out a big cheer. One down, over two hundred to go.
They had found a decent quarrying site to the south. There, about 10 Ipetians had been sent to chip out huge monoliths for the temple, and smaller brick-sized stones for the Roshanian project. Getting the stone moved north had been easier due to a fairly sizable stream, which the Roshanians had cleverly increased by diverting other brooks in the area. The stone had then been moved via an enourmous raft with Ipetians on both banks pulling it along. The current was against them, but they pushed through all the way to the end. There, the stone was tediously moved onto the bank, and the raft was disassembled to convert the logs into rollers which brought the stone all the way to its final resting place.
Now that the process was established, things could get moving more quickly; all that was needed was more power.

((Not much going on this turn. A new settlement, Steenstad (Stone Town), is formed to the south. Currently, its main purpose is as a quarry, though it has plenty of farmland available. Blijzon and its suburbs are still preparing to move out; they'll be ready by next turn, and the turn after that, even an experience tracker who knew the area like Stilis wouldn't be able to tell that there had been a city on that spot.

Akroma, I took the liberty of moving your ninja back towards your city. I think he would consider it beneath his dignity to spy on such "primitive" people. He would mainly have seen structures which he would consider to be crude huts. The few people whom he would have seen armed were equipped with the standard Ipetian wooded weaponry and no armor. He did take note of the large amount of food, though to him, I'm sure it would have again seemed "primitive," Since he didn't taste it, he couldn't know that Ipetian cooks are masters of spices (his loss). He would not have known about the neighboring settlements, though he could infer that there were others nearby.
As to writing a merged version of the battle, I'm afraid I barely have the time to do this, and I don't think I could give a proper accounting. Thanks for nominating me, though.))
