It's probably the NAME bug, now corrected. And you can't extract eggs from chicks, no.

Wow, you have a nice bug...
I didn't notice that you doubled all sizes... For what?

But the problem is with lizardmen. They have no SIZE, so they use some low parameter. Thus we (I'm talented spearman + drunk fellow) are killed by single human peasant in 5-6 turns.
Make them SIZE:14

P.S. Also FORCED makes the items to disappear from entities (because there's no such thing; if you want to be sure they have an item, just don't use rarity tag in item definition); you have naked lizardmen now (no armor  I mean).

Forced is something I got brought across from the Martial Arts mod. I'll correct that now.

Size issue is something I hadn't noticed. It appears a few of the stock creatures are missing SIZE at the moment. I'm going to have to go through all the animals and make sure they have sizes.

As for why I doubled the sizes, I felt that the benefits given from large differences in size wasn't even close to being enough. Hopefully this way, we'll reduce the number of cases where groundhogs maul your dwarves.

The Avarii shopkeepers have no items in their shops, and when you try to trade with them, the game crashes.

I believe that's standard Adventure Mode behaviour. As in, that's what they always do, regardless of Mods.

I may be wrong with forced but I think this works the ame way as no rarity token at all.
But I still get my loincloth + robe as lizardman and the best armor piece I've got was a copper helmet. Do you know what stops them from giving you nice armor even at talented level?
Also consider adding some kind of shield to them, without shields/shield skill they are very weak in comparison to other races.
P.S. They have nice graphics. But only swordsman one... Do you plan to expand their pictures?

Sadly I lack any sort of art skills at the scale df requires. I'm also holding off on using any graphics myself until they're completely seperated from the language files.

Certain characters used by the graphics tileset are also used by words in the game. Changing them to images will cause the image to appear instead of the letter in names and such. Quite annoying.

I believe Toady was going to fix that all up soon, as part of his UI overhaul.

I could not reproduce my issue of the item-less shopkeepers.  *shrug* no idea.  Maybe it wasn't the mod at all.

I'm not sure how I ever played adventure mode before without the ability to fly.

Oh, and what are the relations with the new races?  Will Avarii trade with dwarves?  Will there be Chaos Lord sieges?

The Avarii will siege. They're with gods of Law, Order and Justice, and see all the other races as lacking. They'll try to snatch your children to try to save as many of them as they can, as they're trying to purge sin from the world.

The Chaos Lords, at the moment, won't show up at all. They're purely for adventure mode, and don't have any minions to send forth. I'm hoping this will change in the next version and that evil races will gather to their banner.

Tigermen and Lizardmen are skulkers like kobolds. Think of them as kobolds with a different flavour.

The Avatar civ won't contact you at all. They won't harass you. Eventually, in the next version, that may change, but they're isolationists.

When designating an armor stockpile, I noticed that 'armor' and 'vests' are listed double.

Cool mod so far. Looks like you put a lot of work into it. Can't wait for the action. (Spring 1052, no ambushes yet)

They shouldn't have platemail of any sort. And platemail shouldn't come in that flavour.
