I download Herbbdog's character set...and then i changed the .png into a .bmp, and I changed the init but when I turn on DF its just black ._.;

did you place the set in the proper directory?

You have to make sure it's saved as a 24-bit bmp. Depending on wich program you used to convert it it might have picked some other format.

Oh, and just changeing the filename to .png doesn't work, so if you tried that you need to download a program like The Gimp or similar to do the converting.

Yeah i used paint to save it as a BMP. but i used 256 color. LOCK
