Do creatures with [IMMOBILE_LAND] tokens still attack when on land?

If so, would it be possible to create man-eating plants or even the infamous flesh ball?

The problem would be getting them onto the map.

I don't know if this is possible, but you could make the child mobile and the only one that appears naturally?
It then matures quickly into an immobile adult.

It probably doesn't work, but I'm no great modder.
I only started my first mod (worm civ, giant dwarf-eating worms that breathe fire, and smaller tamable worms 0 :) today.

The mobile child thing would probably work.

Or you can just make it move reeeeeallly slowly, [SPEED:100000] or similar, the only problem is that they will attack just as rarely as they move, so they wont be very dangerous, but that should be solvable somehow...

You always could do something like [ATTACK:MAIN:BYTYPE:MOUTH:bite:bites:10:100:BURN][ATTACKFLAG_CANLATCH]

but then you still wouldn't have much of a problem unless you slept next to one in adventure mode.

The mobile young idea is probably more viable.
But do they need to be next to eachother to mate?
Otherwise they'd only get one generation >_>

I don't think mobile young and stationary adults are possible.

An incomplete workaround might be LARGE_CHASM, then it will just spawn in chasms. I would really like to see some piranha plants.

Might be soon, depending on whether caste bodies let you specify extra tags.  (I doubt it but hey)

Setting it to a one-time biome (chasm, cave) and then giving it a ranged attack - fire breath or webs - would be one splendid way to go about it. Webs I wouldn't reccomend, however, as it adds a new breed of silk, and because of its immobile nature could be ridiculously easy to get webs from.

you could make a Dangereus Seed creature wich if dies drops the Imobil Flesh Eating Plant creature
(Seed should have the shortest life spawn possible)
but i am not sure Creature dropping works propely
