After informing my wife on her birthday morning that procreation is perfectly possible even when the participants are in different locations in the fortress, I noticed that she was showing the first signs of melacholy. Fearing for the future safety of my prickle berries, I withdrew from society to make her this.

She loved it. She knew she was getting a Dwarf Fortress present, but she thought it was just going to be the polished malachite bead bracelet with the rough diamond in a dangling gold cage (she got that too, but she likes the wacky mug just as much! *boggle*)

She just finished drinking orange fruit tea from it while I glowered at her from under bushy eyebrows and muttered something about Dwarven Rum.

Oh my.  But yes all it is missing is an image in Rhinestone of a Dwarf and a dwarf .  The dwarf is talking with the dwarf.

This is a ceramic mug. It is encircled with bands of adhesive tape. It is decorated with an image of a ceramic mug in paper.

That took way too much work.
