Poking around with a DFParser.
Bodypart names, creatures names in one easily overviewable place.

Oh my new (old) picture?

They're all in /raw/objects/creature_standard.txt

I think the first megabeast entry is the dragon, comes in line after the demons, but don't quote me on that.

Seems that Dragon is a few entries before the demons, Titan and Collossus are just after the demons, and Hydra is further down somewhere. Use these for reference.

Of course, you could just ctrl-f them.

If I understood the last part correctly, to test a creature, you can make a civ for it and play against it in adventure mode. To do this, add the [CAN_CIV] tag to it and replace the [CREATURE:HUMAN] (or whatever) tag in the Humans' entry in the raws with whatever your creature is. You may want to lower some of the population-related numbers (so it's easier to get at it one-on-one) and remove the [MEGABEAST] tag (this might conflict with a few things, I dunno) before you start testing.

regardless, the slime shooter will be completed, come hell or high water, which are both entirely plausible setbacks at this point.
