I'd prefer if it was a brand.

The scout-dwarf's holding a sword, not a pick.  And I agree with Moose in that the demodwarf could've done with some better equipment.

I think the pyrodwarfiac would've done just fine with a flamethrower...  Just make it a big metal tube with a barrel of booze attached to it and a fire imp strapped to the end of the tube.

It's still bloody brilliant, however.  I would really like to play that.

Could somebody post a link to the thread where this was posted?

Too damn many forums with a name similar to LL.

It's from LUELinks, a private forum. Kind of like Something Awful, but a bit smaller, and without public access.

There's also "Warmonger", but it looks like it doesn;t have as destructible environments as some other things...

But, hey, it's free.  And the graphics ain't too shabby.

I am heavy weapons dwarf, and this, is my bow.

It weigh 150[dwarven weight symbol here] and fires 150 dwarfbuck custom-carved bolts at 10,000 bolts a minute.  It cost 300,000 dwarfbuck, to fire this weapon, for twelve second.

[insert lolz here]

*picks up xbow, finds engraving on it by melbil mesbethsodel of dwarves and goblins fighting*

oh armok who touched urist...*looks up* WHO TOUCHED MY BOW?!

Some goblins think they can outsmart me.  Maybe, *sniff* maybe.  But I have yet to meet goblin who can outsmart BOLT...

*cue heavydwarf gunning down gobbos by the dozen*
BoooAAAHHHH HOOOOAAAAAHHHH!!! AAAHHAHAHAAHAA CAN I HAVE SOME MORE!

no really, I ran out of bolts they only came in stacks of 25

Ha! I love the meet the heavy vid.  I like yer dwarfese version too.  It seems to fit well.

I'm a soldier specialist, but I love the heavy.   I'm not too good with him since I have a tenancy to hold the button down too long and hear the dreaded *click* *click* *click* though.

Hey look buddy.

I'm a Mechanic.

That means I solve problems.

Not problems like "Is there more to life than drinking booze all day?", because that would fall within the purview of your conundrums of philosophy.

I solve practical problems.

For instance..

...How am I going to stop some big mean Goblin Assassin from tearing me a Dwarvenly superfluous new behind?

The answer...

...use a trap. And if that don't work?

Use more traps.

Like this spring loaded, axe filled, little ol' weapon trap designed by me, uilt by me, and you'd best hope...not in the same tile as you.

I'm a medic/sniper/heavy/engy/PYRO!.  I like playing defensive or otherwise boosting the rest of the team.

I got my highest kill streak with a heavy I was using to patrol my team's fort.   Something like thirteen-fourteen kills before going down.

Yeah.   I tend to play on the less-than-pro-players servers.

But man, ya gotta love the pyro...

I, too, was owned by the double post beast.

Anywho, I'm not a big fan of the offensive classes. I usually go defense or support, but not in the traditional way. I play a mean Engineer on Gold Rush because no one expects the little ol' Engi building a sentry behind the cart on Offense.

I'd say Engineer is my most played class, and certainly my best, followed by Medic, then probably Pyro. I also Spy every now and then, but it's one of those things where I'm either on an amazing streak, or my k:d ratio is like...1/10.

That's better'n my spy score.

Watch out for Mulch Diggums though...  He always plays as a spy, and he cares absolutely nothing about actually furthering the game.  He will spend half a match just creeping around to get behind your back for that one backstab.

And yeah, the engineer's got my highest time as well.  I've had a few matches where there's been an entire "engineer's guild" playing, where it's anywhere from three to six of us just clustering around an area and loading it with so much firepower it's insane.  If a single item gets damaged, they all pile onto it and start smacking away to get it beck in shape.

I spend a good amount of time trying to figure out the perfect turret placement...  I've never gotten that damn sentry gunner achievement, however.  I have no idea how they think you can.  The achievements for that game weren't very well thought-out...
