I'm thinking: first, the hilt smashes the face.  Next, the blade slices the throat.  Finally, the hilt moves on by the ear, and a bit of blade near the hilt (I forget what that part is called) slices the ear off en passant.

The goblin king should have known better than to move his pawn forward two squares.

It should be noted though that flying dragon corpses are completely ineffective against goblin children.

I think the smaller it is in DF the more piercing power so when you lob a dragon and someone and it glances off is because its to big to run them through.

I once had an encounter with a pre-nerf gcs and he tore off my arm immediatly. My comrades distracted him long enough for me to get up, grab my xe with my other hand and kill him. I then picked up my arm and tossed it at the approaching collosus. He died.
