Coasts?

I have noticed that you are unable to move onto coastal tiles on the world map in adventure mode. is it possible to travel to an adjacent tile, then walk to the beach?

Yep.  Heck with an adventurer that had swimming skill I walked to the beach and swam across the ocean to an island.

Shame there was nothing there but more trees.  And a cliff.

Now I just HAVE to find a multi-tile island and completely cover it with fortresses for my adventurer to plunder.

You can go onto tiles that you can't go to in travel mode. I once managed to cross mountains that I was unable to cross in adventure mode.

I found a magma vent and shot a fire imp, which was awesome.
