Who let the dogs out?
« on: February 17, 2008, 11:08:00 pm »

Goblins bowmen tend to slaughter my war dogs - so I have solution now. I swarm them with dozens of dogs and cats :) Cats are there for additional confusion and bloodshed :D
Test run here, I've been seizing elven caravans 2 years now, let's see if this one brings a siege :D http://mkv25.net/dfma/movie-347-dogdefencetestrun

I look forward to seeing whether or not this is effective.  It's certainly different, I'll give you that.

I think you're in the wrong subforum...

Anyways, should be fun too see the bloodshed.  I'd rather see a design where the animals are let out either directly on top of or next to the enemy, for that added ambush factor.  Plus, fewer casualties on your side.

By the way, dropping an animal on top of another reature will knock them down and stun them, but will not damage them.  I tested this out by divebombing the mayor of a city in adventure mode by jumping off the upper level of the town hall above him.
