Levers in Adventure Mode
« on: February 17, 2008, 06:51:00 pm »

My Fortress has hit the spiraling out of control tantrum effect, so it's a goner here soon. The thing is, I have all these neat levers that do all different kinds of things. I have a "toilet trap" where you pull one lever to release the water, pull it to seal the area, and then pull another to evacuate the water to a future pump room. Do levers work in adventure mode? Did I build a wicked weapon for cleaning up my fortress quickly for adventurers, or is it only of value on my reclaim?

One billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the cosmos. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips, I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my veins. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk and free throw.

Yeah, I roasted myself with magma after pulling one lever in my old-forgotten fort. How could I forget about that ancient weapon of doomsday...
So, you can easily abandon your fortress with the "toilet" trap, spend some years and then return with adventurer to make those occupiers drown.

P.S. Also it's a good way to make sure you'll reclaim your fortress in future without big casulties - just make the flood in - flood out system and put the lever at the entrance for your future dwellers.
Also water wheels function in adv. mode too, this way I build the "swimming room" which constantly pull the water in and out, so my adventurer is safe from drawning and can learn how to swim.
