I think NQT is hiding from us. I think they know why my ability was Disabled.
1. I've tried to be forthcoming where it makes sense to be, but there's certainly more I can do today.
2. I have no idea why you were disabled (if you were disabled). I don't have any reason to lie about that. Feel free to try it again.
That's true. I don't feel like they have been trying that hard though. I remember them doing a lecture about finding scum in nonvoters which felt noncommittal to me.
I'm literally voting one of those nonvoters twice right now. Until you voted me right now, you weren't voting. On that measure, I was infinitely more committed than you.
I don't expect anyone else to take this on face value, but this game is pretty funny from my perspective:
- Tric has two votes, he votes me because I have two votes
- I vote Toastercultist for being lazy, he votes me back for lazily voting him
- Kris lies to town, suspects me because I say town can lie
- Kris thinks it's sus that I have a power that does nothing immediately for some later gain, has a power that does nothing immediately for some later gain
- Toony votes me for not trying to vote out scum when he wasn't even trying to vote out scum
It's
Fallacy's Bring Your Own Dramatic Irony out here. Do I think any of these people have to be scum? No, that would be ridiculous, I think people are fairer with themselves than they are with others. Just as I'm being right now with myself, I suppose!
Anyway, more to the point, I've been trying to parse the claims.
Imp is very worried about the Threads of Fate thing. Everyone else is saying, chill. Probably a lot of people have powers that can get a bit out of hand.
I don't think Imp is absolutely off the wall here. The thing she's concerned about is a legitimate scum power role type. She uses CYOS1 as an example. But in that game, her own role was also a slow gaining power accumulating engine and she was town. I think Kris having that kind of role is NAI. I think Kris revealing the details of the role is slightly townsided (scum would probably want to keep the info about their plan to press the
I Win button a secret for a bit longer). Kris's activity in thread is consistent with a town player (though maybe I'm poorly calibrated here as most Bay12 players aren't as intense in their posting schedule).
