The lack of Toony disturbs me.

Unvote for tonight, going to bed. I'm of the opinion Magma is just lying, and Toony is just lying. I am going to copy Toony and go to bed too.

Magma, a reminder that This Exists. You don't have a leg to stand on when it comes to post content.

I do not add a red vote purely to let people discuss. But it's coming tomorrow.

The fuck are you even talking about, I've been posting all day.

Well, I said I was willing to skim over the entire game and think about my stances, so sure, I'll try to write down my thoughts about each person.

I'll kill two birds with one stone here and actually put effort into reads then.

Toaster:

Cool!

One more thing I wanna ask you to put serious thought into.

At night, most of us can do actions.  It's actually really rare, but sometimes happens, that someone doesn't (or can't) do at least 1 night action.  Rarely some of us can do a day action (it's more common than being unable to night action).

Many of us on Day 2 have made a claim about what we did N1.  This does not have to be true or complete.  Because you are new, I highly recommend you do not lie about your night actions, however, 'Not ready to say yet' and 'nothing to report' are commonly accepted for when you don't wanna say yet or at all this day.

Generally, it's best to have some kinda pro-town reason why you don't report what you did, but that can be kinda advanced to figure out what good reasons not to report are.  It can look really scummy too, it nearly got me as town dead the last game I played because I refused to report or discuss what I did that game even when other players caught me doing it and revealed stuff about me to the rest of the game.

Generally, town tells the truth and anti-town lies.  But there are townie lies and scummy truths and all in-between.

However, someone killed Sal (who is now confirmed town, but dead) and nobody's claimed it yet, so probably done by anti-town.  There's a few other puzzles too, I haven't sorted out all the claims yet but I'm weaving them into a story for us all to easily see.

So far, I see no claims from you at all, so do think about if you wanna make any.

For example, this is my summarized claims for N1:

Imp:  Thinks Sal visited N1, leaving stories detailed in reply #551.  Successful blender of Verm's 'negotiations'.  Gained status 'Thread Alpha' (from Sal's once ability?  From somewhere else?), spread it to Verm.

If you know anything about that Thread Alpha status especially, love to hear about that or anything else you choose to claim, thanks!

Unfortunately I still can't make cases and think straight as I just returned home and it's time for sleep but for now, I'm still on Toony, Urist, and Jim. I get Imp's unwillingness to consider my play good and I admit that I'm a newbie that often makes mistakes and quite probably does right now, but I'm not moving my vote for now. Considering Urist's overwhelming presence as town and plays I had seen him do, this whole claim fiasco and reasons behind it are somewhat dubious to me to say the least. Toony did nothing to improve his impression too.

Which makes me wonder now that I'm typing this, Jim's impression improved in my mind, am I crazy for finding that suspicious?

Suspecting somebody because your opinion improves about them is a little deranged, yeah.

To note, town is very divided right now and there's almost no consensus being reached.

This call to consensus is very strange given that the day ends Monday.

I'm going to unvote VermillionSkies. VS' posts are barely adequate.

I should do some more reading of the game but I'm going to be lazy tonight and do other stuff instead.

I'm bothered by Krr1ss choosing to focus on Magma Mater, ToonyMan, and myself. At best it's unproductive, but I'm worried that that might be the point; by limiting targets Krr1ss can look busy and productive but also avoid looking elsewhere, where scum teammates might be.

I'm concerned about EuchreJack claiming to have destroyed Magma Mater's hat but Magma Mater claiming the opposite, after Magma Mater revised his claim to indicate he does not actually redirect people. Whose hat did EuchreJack destroy, in that case? Nobody (besides CrystalizedMire) has claimed to lose a hat, and SalvatoreMonday died with an intact hat, so it's not clear if EuchreJack was redirected to another target or blocked by some other means, or if EuchreJack's claim was an unfortunate lie.

Nah I was lying about that too, I did lose my hat. It's a shame because it was something that only town could use.

Have you completely forgotten that you're supposed to be scumreading Crystalizedmire?
Seriously, I'm not impressed by the fact that yesterday you only tried to vote for her after the lynch was determined to be on the Canadian kitten. Even if you had posted before the deadline your vote would have done nothing, it was entirely performative. And now she's just completely out of mind for you - the vote on VermilionSkies didn't pan out so now you're looking for entirely different targets.

It's unbelievable. Literally unbelievable. I cannot believe that you are not mafia with Crystalizedmire. I will die on this hill.

Okay.

Literally why?

Also, literally why when EuchreJack claimed to destroy your hat before you claimed your hat wasn't destroyed?

I took Magma Matter's hat.
It's really unlikely that the Street Fighter thing is related to your hat being stolen. I also received the Street Fighter video and didn't lose my hat. Not saying that Jim didn't take another action to mug you... because of course that is still possible.

This doesn't add up. This reminds me too much of webadict lying his ass off all the time whenever he rolls scum.

Magma Mater.

Anyways I learned what ability Magma Mater used during N1 and it's called The Mafia Experience. Given he claimed using an ability that made him get hammered two votes early I figured the name I learned was for this ability and it must have been some ironic ability name about playing mafia but considering Magma Mater admits to lying about frivolous things I'm not willing to extend such an innocent explanation to him anymore.

I'm not sure how you came to conclusion that I'm scum.

I generally support your claim of being town.  Why don't you tell everyone what it did?  It has been destroyed, so it's remaining anonymous doesn't help you now.
I can then confirm what it did, and you can regain some credibility.

I spent my night action on Verm and saw that he didn't target anyone. At least not successfully. I just got curious about what you are talking about

What are the chances I got jailed tonight? I am starting to realize that that may make the most sense. My action returned failure and now that I think about it, it would return something else if Verm targeted no one.

Maybe that also explains others "not doing any actions". Maybe they did it on me?

I get Imp's unwillingness to consider my play good and I admit that I'm a newbie that often makes mistakes and quite probably does right now, but I'm not moving my vote for now. Only a specific action in your play, what really matters if the whole game.

Krr1ss, let's discuss.  Reminder, can only paraphrase your results and any other private message from our Mod or chats you're in.

However, let's sort our what may have happened to your action last night.  Tell us about your results?  I think I get that at first you thought that Verm did nothing (and Verm claims he did nothing, with that Thread Alpha status thingy that I know I passed to him if he could get it being suggestive of him no-action too if nobody else got it).   But then you think you're specifically Jailkept?  That's different from roleblocked and whatever - what specifically happened, in paraphrase?

Crystal, I'm compiling claims.  I get you are, "Lost hat, gained streetfighter ending video as a message."  Anything else to claim?

I said it's really unlikely that you are the one affecting hats because someone used an ability on me that targets 6 people. I assumed that was yours - are you saying it isn't?
My ability name is a reference to the fact that it allows me to experience what it's like to be mafia. I'm never mafia, I have to use an ability to experience what that's like.

Not going to claim what it did. If it's gone then it isn't useful information. If it isn't actually gone - for example if town mugged me - then I don't want that information out in the open. If you already know what the hat does then you should know that this would be my response.

Three people targeted me with non-hat actions last night. I know this because I usurped three abilities. Anyone want to claim being usurped?

I am definitely not usurped, I also did not target you last night.
