Whatever you'd like, but Blender would be.. probably the best, of what I know you can do. Refilling shots on it as it currently exists wouldn't do anything, because it only triggers on the D1 votecount.
I'm hoping the Blender result is at least partially based on the original ability. It seems that way, with what Negotiations turned into.

From my end, nearly anything seems possible.

Like... when you weren't posting.  I literally asked God if it were possible that I had rendered you unable to post in the game thread.  Because that seems entire within the range... not likely at all.  Nothing to hint we'd go that way but... it's not clearly ruled out.

Extreme post restrictions are within range, but you'd be able to post.

And post restrictions are not necessarily likely.  Nothing's necessarily likely.  'Possible'.  Maybe it would always resemble the previous power.  Maybe not.  Literally... a blender could maybe be bad - if we both live to the next day and nothing stops me we can always reblender it should you dislike the current form.

Ghost of Nonexistence: To put it simply, I do not exist.
Ghost of Nonexistence: But I do have an alignment: Town.
Ghost of Nonexistence: And I have at least one thing up my sleeve worth keeping for later. :)
Ghost of Nonexistence: For now, let me share a story with you in the form of the following list:

BAD:
Magma Mater
Imp
TricMagic
VermilionSkies

TERRIBLE:
ToonyMan
Jim Groovester
EuchreJack
notquitethere

AWFUL:
CrystalizedMire
Agentt
toastercultist
Kr1ss

LUCKY NUMBER THIRTEEN:
The Canadian kitten

So, Salvatore Monday claimed that he had no role and no powers. He wasn't killed by scum who were PR-hunting.
In that case, we can assume he was killed for one of two reasons:
a) His reads were good, or
b) The mafia are comfortable and wanted to make a kill that wouldn't rock the boat.

I can't really do anything if it's the latter, so I'll do an analysis while keeping that possibility in the back of my mind - that Salvatore Monday's reads could be wrong and that his only offense to the mafia might have been that he wasn't being loud about it.

That out of the way, if Salvatore Monday was killed due to his reads, I am going to assume:

1) That at least three (probably all four) of the people at the top of his list are town:
Magma Mater
Imp
TricMagic
VermilionSkies

2) That at least two of the people at the bottom of his list are mafia:
CrystalizedMire
Agentt
toastercultist
Kr1ss

Wow this lines up really well with my reads how convenient is that?
Why am I even doing this, I'm just confirmation-biasing myself.  ::)

[Ghost of Nonexistence expresses a willingness to take a gamble.]

toastercultist

I am noting, however, that Salvatore Monday voted for toastercultist at the end of the day. As such, I feel that toastercultist is the most likely person to have killed Salvatore Monday if we're just looking at his reads.

Hey, Verm!

You have an ability 'Car Accident', is that the name?  Doesn't matter if it's 'auto' or '0-shot', if it's an ability I know the name of, it's my domain.

I don't currently have anyone I know that has admitted a serious problem or otherwise asked me to adjust or strengthen or otherwise tweak an ability.  (anyone want to discuss?  Absolutely discussing requests here!)

You've seen what happened to the blender of negotiations - from what you said, you like it this way and don't want it reblendered, right?  I won't touch it unless you request but that is an option.

I can't give a new ability or destroy one (at this time, maybe never).  But I can target any ability and that's my current gift.

It sounds like you don't 'need' or 'want' 'car accident' anymore; and I would like to see if we can make things better and cooler and more useful.  What's your thought about a blender of that and seeing if it helps?  Or is there another ability you might want targeted and changed perhaps how?

Anyone else wanna let me play with an ability?  That's totally what I can do, if you wanna try it with me.  One per night, we can discuss who.  I can't fully control the outcome, but some specific directions I can move towards, like I can 'grow' abilities (how they grow... yeah.  But they'll grow somehow!)

lol no I'm not claiming my ability names thanks

We're not just looking at his reads though. We're also looking at Toastercultist's play, and it doesn't quite line up with what you're pushing.

Imp, as you seem to have successfully modified an ability, might I suggest modifying mine? Forme Change - Heart of Harmony! Add a curative effect to it since this one hits everyone in theater. Or just remove it's Shotted status. 3 out of 3 Theater Kids agree. Probably.

Question to ask Fal on your end is if your modification takes place to modify an action for the night or not. If it does the curative effect should fix Verm's soul damage?

Hmm... Try adding Hero of the Eternal Forest? Alternative if going for something more spicy could add Story of the First Earthbreaker to it.

ToasterCultist
taking three random games from the forum and seeing that they just happen to partially support your claim has so many holes in logic.
No mate, what I did was make a claim that passivity is a common scum trait, and point to four recent games where scum failed to vote (I had a followup post) to demonstrate that I wasn't pulling that claim out of nowhere. You played passively on Day One. You failed to make a vote. You can't get in a time machine and fix that, it's a permanent stain. A mark of suspicion.

You did claim that passivity was a common scum trait, but you're making it seem like that was the only thing you claimed. Claiming that we should suspect the people not voting is okay, but claiming we need to eliminate one person from that group seems extreme, doesn't it?

Also what??? I played passively on D1?? I don't need to get in a time machine and fix that, as the evidence points to the contrary. While I'm not proud of this decision, I almost immediately had suspicions for EuchreJack and defended my points. You can't simply look at the final (votes were reset) counter, see I didn't vote, and generalize that I was playing passively the entire time.

So NQT, could you elaborate on your suspicions and give more reasons other than a cautious attitude?
FOSing me when you could be voting me. Another red flag! I took a look back to see what you did after I voted you on D1, and so far you've done nothing. If you start to do things I may very well update my opinion.

Are you even.. taking this game seriously?? If that's your main criterion for suspicion, then why not, NQT.

Magma, a reminder that This Exists. You don't have a leg to stand on when it comes to post content.

I do not add a red vote purely to let people discuss. But it's coming tomorrow.

Yep, there's risks and I have no idea what anti-town, or even concerned town, might do about the information or the intended attempt.  I just offer and it's one-per-night for me as well, at least for now and maybe for always.  When I use it there's a chance it improves something for me, what and how is unclear and didn't happen last night.

It's maybe most useful for abilities that are literally 'worthless' or 'dangerous' in their current state, I can likely help that become 'something else' at least, and if that's messed with hopefully it doesn't harm anyone pro-town.

If I target Verm's 'car accident' ability and get redirected to you, for example, maybe I get locked down like others who targeted you say they were, which would suck... but I wouldn't change anything about you except your 'car accident' ability if you currently had one.  There's maybe meta ways to mess with me, but that hasn't clearly happened yet and I hope anti-town's just more interested in anti-town benefit than messing with my little games and potential improvements (hope stuff improves!).

We're not just looking at his reads though. We're also looking at Toastercultist's play, and it doesn't quite line up with what you're pushing.

I have nowhere near that level of control over how I change stuff.  My options are more like 'grow... but omg in what way?' or 'more meta but harder to use, likely restricted' or 'blender - any possible reformation'.

I do not have the ability to make an action 'more healing' - but if it is already healing and I make it grow, then it may grow towards more healing, I'd guess that could be likely.

As far as I understand, the changes I can cause are permanent though they can be changed again if the target and I live long enough and that's attempted.

If they happen before or after use of the ability - that would be determined by order of actions, and I don't get to know where mine falls compared to most others based on what I've asked (maybe because I don't have the other abilities).

So like, if Verm had tried to use Negotiations N1, depending on its order compared to my change's order, he would have used the original or the changed.  Since I don't have these abilities, I get a lot of non-committal gestures when I ask about timing and stuff; since the changes are not really 'controlled or specific' I don't really get details except 'possible or impossible' - like it was easy to get a clear answer that 'Yes, Verm is still capable of posting, the change could not remove that entirely though even severe and extensive post restrictions could have and may have happened'; of course I paraphrase.

I also cannot specifically remove shotted status, but I can try.  A blender is likely the best way to try to remove that though.

Your thoughts?

Grow would probably help Heart of Harmony. And/Or get me killed eventually but eh. Having multiple people you could target would probably help keep you from going off course though.

And to be clear, this is the full, complete, accurate ability name?

Well, you could get breakfast tuna sandwiches from the tuna restaurant, but it looks like it's closed.

It doesn't take too long to figure out why - there's a red sports car embedded in one of its inner walls.

What a shame - where are you supposed to get ice cream now?

Someone suggests the grocery, but obviously, that just wouldn't be the same.

Unfortunately I still can't make cases and think straight as I just returned home and it's time for sleep but for now, I'm still on Toony, Urist, and Jim. I get Imp's unwillingness to consider my play good and I admit that I'm a newbie that often makes mistakes and quite probably does right now, but I'm not moving my vote for now. Considering Urist's overwhelming presence as town and plays I had seen him do, this whole claim fiasco and reasons behind it are somewhat dubious to me to say the least. Toony did nothing to improve his impression too.

Which makes me wonder now that I'm typing this, Jim's impression improved in my mind, am I crazy for finding that suspicious?

Suspecting somebody because your opinion improves about them is a little deranged, yeah.

To note, town is very divided right now and there's almost no consensus being reached.

This call to consensus is very strange given that the day ends Monday.

I'm going to unvote VermillionSkies. VS' posts are barely adequate.

I should do some more reading of the game but I'm going to be lazy tonight and do other stuff instead.

I'm bothered by Krr1ss choosing to focus on Magma Mater, ToonyMan, and myself. At best it's unproductive, but I'm worried that that might be the point; by limiting targets Krr1ss can look busy and productive but also avoid looking elsewhere, where scum teammates might be.

I'm concerned about EuchreJack claiming to have destroyed Magma Mater's hat but Magma Mater claiming the opposite, after Magma Mater revised his claim to indicate he does not actually redirect people. Whose hat did EuchreJack destroy, in that case? Nobody (besides CrystalizedMire) has claimed to lose a hat, and SalvatoreMonday died with an intact hat, so it's not clear if EuchreJack was redirected to another target or blocked by some other means, or if EuchreJack's claim was an unfortunate lie.

Hey, Toaster!

I really need your help.  This is good for you too, like one of the most important things you can possibly do.

Please figure out what 'the story of the game is' to you. What are you paying attention to?  If nothing... are you willing to read the game like it's a story and figure it out?

Who is doing what?  Who is working together and towards what ends?  Who doesn't work together at all, even when maybe they should?

Really the core is who seems to be doing what, and 'why'.

Can you explain that, what the story of the game is to you?

Well, I said I was willing to skim over the entire game and think about my stances, so sure, I'll try to write down my thoughts about each person.

I'll kill two birds with one stone here and actually put effort into reads then.
