Is it like hostile virus? If so, it's possible that I may have also been the stopping point because I have reasons to believe I was jailed last night

CM: Thread of Fate is a Status that gives itself to anyone I visit on the same turn I gained the status - so it would also give itself to whoever they visit, and so on. It'd make sense if Agent was the one who inflicted it, especially since they were upset with me not taking an action. They say that they didn't, though, so who knows.
Kriss: I have six nights - if you disregard anything else that might consume or require Downwards Escalator. I will not be providing a comprehensive list of what does reduce it, do not ask.
Imp: aaah, it makes even more sense for a theoretical Threads-Kriss to target you instead of me, because they knew you were going to be targeting me that night. Still not conclusive evidence by any means, considering anyone can have that idea.
I... doubt it's Sal? They would have been dead by that point, assuming 'N1' means last night.
-New Kriss post:
...this sounds fake to me. I can't point to a specific line that makes me feel that way, but the last couple of posts from Kriss feel like someone trying to pretend they don't know how something they made works.

Nah, if that was the case, would I go through the whole ordeal of being annoyed at you not targeting people before realizing that I couldn't even see you anyway. Seems like a fair assumptions but not true

In any case I need to make dinner. Fallacy I would appreciate that votecount a bit earlier.

It is not clearly like a virus or clearly hostile.

It is absolutely designed to spread and spread well, it follows the target's target's target's target's until it burns out.

That alone makes me trust it a little, it's pure luck that it didn't spread to everyone; different targeting/action choices and it has many or all of us.  Who has a role that can kill the entire game N1?

Thank God-Mod, the rand, and Lord Sal for the alignment town.  This would suck otherwise.  Sal didn't need me to maybe kill the rest of the game.  Sal alone could have at least tried with that one shot.  Power indeed.  Sal - thank you for holding me in your hand that long.  Indeed, golden coins of stories... you are brilliant and I am so sorry you are lost.  One day, the stars and starts will be right for us to do as you wish, together.  Not that you need me.

Sorry, I've been sort of inactive lately due to being tired.
Kriss, I'm not sure why you believe I owed you an action, especially when the cost of that action could be used for so many other things, like notably - not dying.
I skimmed through the thread but I don't think Krr1ss mentioned anything about you owing an action to them?
Ninja: I've been barely paying attention to the thread due to tiredness but why do you think it was Krr1ss who gave you Thread of Fate?
So NQT, could you elaborate on your suspicions and give more reasons other than a cautious attitude?
FOSing me when you could be voting me. Another red flag! I took a look back to see what you did after I voted you on D1, and so far you've done nothing. If you start to do things I may very well update my opinion.

Are you even.. taking this game seriously?? If that's your main criterion for suspicion, then why not, NQT.
Do you genuinely believe that NQT is scum or are you voting them because you disagree with them?
This post made me second guess towning Crystal. I'm tired, I'll just stop thinking. Night
Unfortunately I still can't make cases and think straight as I just returned home and it's time for sleep but for now, I'm still on Toony, Urist, and Jim. I get Imp's unwillingness to consider my play good and I admit that I'm a newbie that often makes mistakes and quite probably does right now, but I'm not moving my vote for now. Considering Urist's overwhelming presence as town and plays I had seen him do, this whole claim fiasco and reasons behind it are somewhat dubious to me to say the least. Toony did nothing to improve his impression too.

Which makes me wonder now that I'm typing this, Jim's impression improved in my mind, am I crazy for finding that suspicious?
Krr1ss: Are all these pure vibes or something more concrete?

Both, I usually find something subconsciously and call it vibes but I can actually usually voice it out. Just that I'm very tired atm and lying in bed with phone. Idk why I still didn't go to sleep. Either way, I can't explain anything rn and I may even lie due to tiredness

Voting them because I disagree, but I'm still suspicious of them. I'll skim the game today or tomorrow and find more permanent stances on people.

Verm, yeah about status.

Thing is... this is massive.  The power level to spread to potentially all players in 1 shot?

Now, it doesn't have an apparent 'trigger'.  We see Sal's flip.

If it came from someone else they have the trigger presuming there is one.  I still say if there's a future status - and there could be!  Like... this is alpha.  Maybe A spreads like crazy (or not, in our case).  Maybe N2 there's a Beta.  And maybe it takes 3+ different threads to allow the trigger - that's a potential way to balance this shocker.

At this time I cannot affect or remove status.

I agree, someone besides Sal could have targeted me and given me the status.  It might not need Sal to exist - especially if whatever effect it has requires multiple different threads to affect the same person or needs a thread of some specific length before an effect triggers.  And the weaker the effect, the less concerning balance is as well.

But I do consider 'not claiming it' to be a likely untowny action, if this is someone alive's 'thing'.  Some SK who needs this to kill later... probably doesn't wanna claim it.  I am really concerned if we see a Beta thread.

I... doubt it's Sal? They would have been dead by that point, assuming 'N1' means last night.

Actions happen in an order.  Kills tend to be later in the order than many other things.  N1 does mean Night 1.  But Sal was alive end of D1.  So Sal got to submit an action, maybe chose to do so (most do... poor Tric's claim of not).

Blocks tend to happen early, so if A blocks B and B kills A, usually A lives because the block resolves first; the kill can't happen.

In this case, if Sal did 'impossible thing' and we know someone killed Sal, it's entirely possible that Sal's action happened before death - and the flavor I was given, the figure that visited me and shared stories  with me went to pieces during the sharing.  That flavor could be consistent with Sal dying the same night he targeted me, normally or not.

However, yes.  This thread stuff could be deadly bad and come from someone else; it could be positive and come from someone not claimed it yet (I seriously doubt that).  If we never see more thread, I really think Sal, and I think Sal's possible.  A status that could have 'in 1 night' spread to everyone it can take effect on - that's pretty near God-level.

Hey, Verm!

You have an ability 'Car Accident', is that the name?  Doesn't matter if it's 'auto' or '0-shot', if it's an ability I know the name of, it's my domain.

I don't currently have anyone I know that has admitted a serious problem or otherwise asked me to adjust or strengthen or otherwise tweak an ability.  (anyone want to discuss?  Absolutely discussing requests here!)

You've seen what happened to the blender of negotiations - from what you said, you like it this way and don't want it reblendered, right?  I won't touch it unless you request but that is an option.

I can't give a new ability or destroy one (at this time, maybe never).  But I can target any ability and that's my current gift.

It sounds like you don't 'need' or 'want' 'car accident' anymore; and I would like to see if we can make things better and cooler and more useful.  What's your thought about a blender of that and seeing if it helps?  Or is there another ability you might want targeted and changed perhaps how?

Anyone else wanna let me play with an ability?  That's totally what I can do, if you wanna try it with me.  One per night, we can discuss who.  I can't fully control the outcome, but some specific directions I can move towards, like I can 'grow' abilities (how they grow... yeah.  But they'll grow somehow!)

Imp: I would really like you to do things to Car Accident if you don't have anything better to do. I have no clue what it would do, other than potentially give me a free refill on Downwards Escalator, but it'd be incredibly funny.
I do enjoy Negotiations where it's at, currently.

Awesome.  By 'things' do you mean blender, or what kinda... describe your hopes.

Whatever you'd like, but Blender would be.. probably the best, of what I know you can do. Refilling shots on it as it currently exists wouldn't do anything, because it only triggers on the D1 votecount.
I'm hoping the Blender result is at least partially based on the original ability. It seems that way, with what Negotiations turned into.
