Jim complaining about the lynch options while not voting for anyone is suuuuper scummy btw.

Right now I'd take Jim over any others.  If enough of us are here and willing to switch?

He's my second highest scumread.  We have like 4 minutes?  Enough people watching and want to, agree?

He's my second highest scumread.

Before this mess, he was.  Currently top, I don't like this.  I note Toony likes Jim and TCk, they both kinda nest together.

Nooooooo. If Jim is scum I'll lose it. I have like 90% accuracy. I like Magma here, but not Jim right now.

Nah.
Jim not voting for Crystalizedmire here is borderline outing them as a team though.

Please remember to be at least moderately respectful of our fellow mafia players. We're all here to have a fun time.

The sun's glow fades. The final votes are tallied. Surprisingly, the ancient tradition of Fire Drill has had little impact. Some votes have been shuffled, but the consensus, that remains the same.

The Canadian kitten faces down the executioner's shotgun.

"Well? What do you have to say for yourself?"

The Canadian kitten hums softly under his breath. A slow beat, a slow rhythm, fingers tapping, dancing.

The executioner raises the shotgun and fires. The sound rings like thunder, and an old-fashioned vinyl records player is shattered.

The music halts.

You have destroyed only innocence.

The Canadian kitten was Town.

The Canadian kitten was 'The log driver waltz'.

Quote
The log driver waltz (Town)
Soft music, hard work, and fancy footwork will carry you down the river.
(Auto) Grand Theatre: You share a grand theatre with three other dancers. You possess access to a non-alignment confirmed private chat with three other players, though it may only be used during the Night.
(Auto) River Footwork: The river rapids are challenging, but you manage well enough. If you visit a player with an odd position on the player list during an odd-numbered Night, or a player with an even position on the player list during an even-numbered Night, with a non-Free action, you are protected.
(Night) Downriver Dance [target]: The water rushes by, as the log turns under your feet. You visit your target, and they gain the benefits of River Footwork for the Night. You additionally learn whether you met River Footwork's condition, and whether your target met River Footwork's condition.
(1-Shot, Night) Birling Waltz [target]: You perform a waltz for two. If your target is not within the Grand Theatre chat, you alignment inspect them, and they learn your alignment.

Quote from: Hats
(Hat, Night) Baseball Cap [target]: Comes with a wooden baseball bat, twice lacquered. The ideal backup weapon. You roleblock any non-lethal actions your target uses this Night.

Night 1 has begun. Night 1 will end at 10 PM Central time, Thursday March 6th, 2024. Please send in your actions.

Realistically, processing the actions will probably take enough time that the Night will have to end either later Thursday or sometime Friday. I will notify you all of when i begin processing the actions, however.

Processing Night actions.

Edit: All actions processed, but it's now past midnight where I live, and I'd rather play it safe rather than trying to rush out flavor and results.

Expect Night results and the start of Day 2 tomorrow evening. I'll need to double-check my spreadsheets, then get you all your results messages, and that flavor you know and love.

Salvatore Monday, it seems, has been crushed. Tattered fabric lies strewn all around, a cloak merrily woven, now gone forevermore.

Salvatore Monday was killed.

Salvatore Monday was Town.

You grip at the cloak, and find nothing underneath.

Salvatore Monday was roleless. However -

Quote
"Ceci n'est pas une role" (Town)

You do not have a role, nor do you have abilities. This descriptive text will flip in the event of your death, simply for fairness' sake. You may not gain abilities, aside from Hats.

For you and you alone, flavortext may be construed to contain truth. All you are involved with, during the Night, may be written into the tales you receive, and the tales others receive.

Every Night, you may visit a player of your choice, which will naturally interact with your flavor, as well as theirs. Yet visit is all you shall do.

Once, during a single Night of the game, you may describe the actions you take during the Night. The more absurd your description, the less likely they are to succeed, but even so, there shall be a chance. The moderator reserves the right to refuse to answer questions about this ability.

Quote from: Hats
(Hat, 2-Shot, Night) Wizard's Hat [target]: Magic is a sword without a hilt, they say. You gain a 1-Shot copy of a random, non-Mafiakill, role action used by your target this Night.

What a strange thing to observe. A being without a Role, in this universe.

The Hat is buried with the shreds of the cloak. You would like to pretend the sanctity of the dead will be undisturbed, but you cannot rightly do so.

Greed binds you all.

Day 2 has started. Day 2 will end in approximately 72 hours, at 10:00 PM Central time, Monday, March 10th, 2025 - or earlier, if you bring about a hammer.

I believe Sal may have visited me last night.  There were 'coins' left that were stories by a hard-to-see shape that smiled.  I was given stories, one about an individual, the word used has many meanings including builder or a member of a secret group, being murdered.  The other was about a wizard trying to right some complex great wrongs, and others more vague about traps, villains, sacrifices, and consequences.  The spirit was sharing with me when it went to pieces.

I was told I was successful in my attempt to blenderize Verm's ability.  Verm, do you have new problems or more problems, or are you safe and well now?

I don't.

Poor Salvatore. We hardly knew ye.

Although really, we have nobody to blame for that than yourself.

Kill means the scumteam probably has at least one person who was in the last game. Certainly it isn't Krr1ss / Agentt / toaster (although we probably knew that already).

Jim Groovester for reasons already stated.
