@TheCanadianKitten: There seems to be a contradiction in two things you said.
Here, you are hyper critical of Magma Matter claiming an ability that would confuse the night results. Magma Matter was in fact doing a townie thing by telling us "Hey folks, any targeting of me is gonna give bad results" NOW rather than on Day 2+.

However, in this post, you claim that lying is BAD and creates confusion for Town.

Please explain.  I think there is enough pressure on you that I don't need to vote you, but it is suspicious.
Pfp
I wouldn't consider myself being critical of Magma. I questioned on whether it would be prudent to reveal the role so early. I haven't really thought about whether Magma is lying about their role, as I have no way of confirming it currently. What i figured that lying is bad is when they're used in that causes conflicts of infomation that wouldn't be resolved unless they admit the liars were lying, and such confusion is unneeded.
It's incredible that you responded to EuchreJack's post with such respect and detail. It was a terrible post that deserved neither of those things.

This Theater is the worst kept secret since my early mafia days. Jeeze.

Kay, so continuing from my first post this game, superkill all masons. While we aren't masons, Skies, Cat, Agentt and I are in a Night Theater. At the rate things seem to be developing there might not be much of one left by the end of the day.
I wouldnt have known if you didnt tell me.
Anyways, does your interactions with Agentt in the private chat partially explain why you voted them earlier in the day.

I dont see much of a contradiction unless you misinterpret the posts. Theres a time and place for everything but not know or how the saying goes.

MagmaMater because I want them to answer my question about TCK.

You're really not going to be satisfied either way.  :-\

OMG!

EVERYONE!  I need to introduce you to Urist/Magma Mater.  This player rocks!

Mater, you are so awesome; you are the way and the light and the path and the door for those who are seeking that they might be found.

Granted, this game Fallacy is God to me.  But you are still very valued and precious.

I'm a bit less blinded to you this game than last; more time has passed since you were my current mod that absolutely rocked and ruled my gameworld; since I danced between your palms and by your power and glory of game design, and whatever incidental luck also was involved, I got to have so! much! joy!

Plus I was maf that immediately-after and soon canceled game.  And if anything's gonna muck up my ability to read you, try that!  :D

So, Awesome One.  How else may I satisfy your contract?  I am eager to watch you play.  One of these games we both have to be town again!  I'm eager to see and feel if it's this one.

Cheers.

I get the feeling that Crystalizedmire is mafia. You should know my style by now. Can you tell me why I find her suspicious?

Those two things catch your attention, what is your opinion on them? Are they alignment-indicative? Do you have any alignment-relevant reads?

Man fucking BRUTAL the guy who's never been still found a way to make fun of me geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez

Do you have a role related reason for doing this or are you doing it for fun? Blink once if it's related to your role, blink twice if it's for fun.

I did confirm with host that this game has 24/7 mafia chat.

Does this site has a culture or tutoring? Like you think every response from mafia would be a well discussed one or do people not tend to be that try hard here?

24/7 mafia chats always give me that paranoia...

Ugggggggggggggh there are fourteen players in this game ugggh it's going to take fucking forever and I'm going to have to read this shit for the next three weeks.

Is it just me, or does this feel extremely suspicious? Not the roleclaim, but the suggestion that everyone should "just leave you alone then." An unconfirmed roleclaim doesn't really warrant not taking actions on Magma at all, and this could really benefit Mafia if Magma was mafia.
And because EuchreJack may be trying to cause this, I'll vote him.

This makes me lean town on toastercultist, even though he's completely off base about EuchreJack and Magma Mater.

JimGroovester - In the many years playing mafia, have you ever seen random votes do anything useful?

It's possible I've seen an instance where it was, but I certainly can't recall if I have.

A lot of people with anti investigation Abilities...

Man you don't even know the half of it.

Trying to sort out the night game is going to be basically pointless.

Everyone: Do you think that everyone should claim how many hats they have in order to prevent Hat Victory?

No, because it will be more fun if people don't claim that.

Claim: I have an ability that can destroy a hat. Knowing Fallacy, one of you probably has a "cursed" hat of "screw the wearer".

So, if anyone wants their hat destroyed, let me know.

I endorse you destroying hats as long as you don't destroy any in my possession and if destroying hats reduces the hat requirement for the hat tyrant victory.

Salvador Monday I wanna park here until they somehow can prove that they can be useful to town. There's no point in having a potential risk if it's impossible so determine their reads.

It's hypocritical of me but even though I had similar thoughts I find the suggestion suspect.

Salvatore might be deadweight but I'm not sure if they're a good day elim since we can't find their remaining mafia members due to their lurking.

This kind of threw me off.

Why would somebody you think is scum not be a good lynch? Do you think Salvatore Monday is scum?

Yeah, well.  If you're pro-town this game, you have little reason to fear me.  I try not to mis-elim, and I try not to mess up pro-town in general.  I can't help being me, I'm just vastly and intensely and expansively me!  I hope you can have fun too.

'you can totally trust me'

:\

TricMagic is going after NQT because of some stupid reason and I didn't like that.

Agentt is probably town.

Less certain about Krr1ss.

Kind of concerned about CrystalizedMire.

Salvatore Monday's schtick is going to get old very quickly.

toastercultist is probably town but I think this less strongly than I do about Agentt.

Imp probably submitted Warehouse 13 again and holy crap I am so done reading about role modification.

ToonyMan looks about as interested in this game as I am.

Magma Mater is fine. I can't recall if I ever played with Magma Mater before but I imagine them to be skilled and dangerous.

notquitethere is fine.

I don't really have an opinion about EuchreJack, The Canadian kitten, or Vermillion Skies.

I did confirm with host that this game has 24/7 mafia chat.

Does this site has a culture or tutoring? Like you think every response from mafia would be a well discussed one or do people not tend to be that try hard here?

24/7 mafia chats always give me that paranoia...

Usually, no, because that's a lot of effort, although the amount of coordination the scum team engages in varies depending on who they are.

Man fucking BRUTAL the guy who's never been still found a way to make fun of me geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez

Canadian seemed the most towny to me, weird
Yeah that is weird. Why did you read him as town?
Not Krr1ss but TCK's 3 posts are fine to pretty good. I remembered them as being better than what they were but there's nothing scummy about them. TCK has a good question in his first post, his second post was meh, and his third post is fine and a truthful response. He tends to activelurk so I didn't read into his behaviour that much.
Why do you read them as scum? I assume it's the third post that you found suspicious otherwise you would've voted him before.
Canadian kitten has twice written posts from a mafia perspective:
1) He is unable to see the benefit to me claiming my role. From his point of view, it would be a good way to mess up mafia (his) actions. The way I see it, his opinion is that I've misplayed by revealing too much to him too early. He told me that he thought I had misplayed, but wasn't able to justify that belief when challenged (because he can't reveal that he knows I'm town).
2) Isn't able to tell that EuchreJack's attack on him is terrible, because he knows that EuchreJack is town. From his perspective, a town who attacks a mafia must have valid reasoning behind it, so EuchreJack's attack on him must be valid.

Not really. If I were mafia I'd probably just tell my partner to post lots and vote for town. Many people aren't online often enough to have deep discussions like that anyway.

Think what you want about me, but I'm going to be really stubborn on the EuchreJack and Magma Mater issue. It's one of the only actual pieces of evidence that we have on day 1, and the night game's complexity could be lessened if we got it over with and investigated Magma first thing instead of avoiding it till we have no choice.
As someone (I forgot who) said, this is a perfect excuse for the mafia to not get read, and the extra complexity with the bussing sounds like it was hastily added in to make it seem plausible.

If this is what you think then why are you voting for EuchreJack and not me? I think you're getting your reasoning wrapped around in your head.

I haven't seen you town a whole lot :D  How you hunt/what you notice - weak ideas.  Going with my gut - you're simply a mage, probably of your own variant of Golden Dawn/drew some concepts that have those roots, and your absolutely not-witchy ways reveal much to you.  Plus your intuition is awesome indeed.

What I have is a way better idea how to read you for you feeling true to me.  And a deep respect for your intellect and a slew of other skills you have that relate to playing and designing mafia games.  And my deep fixation on you, for all a heck of a lot of driving in a short time period knocked a few of those parts into watching for oncoming traffic and such instead.

What I notice about CrystalizedMire is my own stuff.  She's actively playing and engaged, exploring and hunting.  That's more typical from an anti-town Crystal than when pro-town.

But I'm fascinated if you choose to share what you read and how.  You keyed me into investigating the extremely dangerous maf 4maskwolf our first game together, and you were right.

However, your first identified maf that game,

Of the people you mention in your last paragraph, Crystalizedmire is mafia, Max Spin is town, TricMagic is town, Fallacy is town, I'm town. Feel free to steal these reads if you'd like, they're pretty great.

CM was town there, the other 4 you echo about are also town.|

I'm absolutely listening to you.  Glad you're in the game, but I still have a lot to learn about how you play and how you think as you play.

M'brain is saying 'sleep or die'.  I don't believe it but I better sleep.  Hope I have lots of chance to play on the 4th!
