About Dying: Depends on which of my abilities I use. They're all fairly strong, but each of them requires different things from me in exchange.

While I am more interested in prolonging your life, I can also attempt to adjust an ability.  So, like.  One you really wish was different, I could try to different it.  I'd need the name.  I'm more motivated to fix problems than just... whatever.
I cannot, in good faith, offer up one of my abilities to be altered, considering its a little close to breaking the game if you remove some of its effects.
I will, however, say that Negotiations would be much nicer if it didn't decrement Escalator.

Granted, this game Fallacy is God to me.  But you are still very valued and precious.

I'm a bit less blinded to you this game than last; more time has passed since you were my current mod that absolutely rocked and ruled my gameworld; since I danced between your palms and by your power and glory of game design, and whatever incidental luck also was involved, I got to have so! much! joy!

Plus I was maf that immediately-after and soon canceled game.  And if anything's gonna muck up my ability to read you, try that!  :D

So, Awesome One.  How else may I satisfy your contract?  I am eager to watch you play.  One of these games we both have to be town again!  I'm eager to see and feel if it's this one.

Dw, the amount of "Urist" I heard in my dms and scumchat during the 72 hours of King's Gambit is more than enough for me to know how awesome you are.

*blush*  Krr1ss, you didn't have a chance to fully capture my attention during your modship; the game ended before EoD1.  But Mater... yeah.

Everyone: Do you think that everyone should claim how many hats they have in order to prevent Hat Victory?

CrystalizedMire, I don't know yet, and I'm not sure that can be so easily controlled.

Like...

(Free, Night) Mug [target]: You must have hats... You steal a random Hat ability your target possesses at the end of the Night. If you do not currently possess a Hat ability, you instead steal all the Hat abilities your target possesses. Caveat: if multiple players attempt to Mug the same player, then instead a random player among those players steals a random Hat ability from each player attempting to Mug your target.

So... If one of us claimed to have 3 hats and 8 of us decide to mug that player.  3 of the 8 have no hats, the other 5 have 1+ hats.

The Caveat comes into play.  One of the 8 will steal a random hat ability from the other 7; 5 have hats so no matter which of the 8 is the randomly chosen one, that one wins because they end up with 5 hats.

So, this is my first hat game and there's a lot I can't see how to control or help about it.

I can see plus and minus for claiming the hat number, and it could help or hurt town.

Verm, your wording is odd.  If Negotiations is a complete and accurate ability name that you have, I can try to alter it.

I will try to alter it so that it doesn't ... since I have to steer this.  Right now I think what's going on is it affects a status you have that is a countdown to your death.

My most likely effective way to steer this is to actually.... effectively drag it to hell and back.  Hard to say what it will look like after.  Almost certainly it will not continue to 'decrement Escalator' (if Fallacy is willing and luck doesn't interfere).  But much else about it might also change.  You might like it more - or less.  Some things I could 'less chaotically trim'.  But we can go the 'oh hell no' (or try).

I also care about consent.

Want me to do what I can (and presuming nobody effectively interferes)?  Or want to stay as is for now?

This Theater is the worst kept secret since my early mafia days. Jeeze.

Kay, so continuing from my first post this game, superkill all masons. While we aren't masons, Skies, Cat, Agentt and I are in a Night Theater. At the rate things seem to be developing there might not be much of one left by the end of the day.
I wouldnt have known if you didnt tell me.
Anyways, does your interactions with Agentt in the private chat partially explain why you voted them earlier in the day.
@TheCanadianKitten: There seems to be a contradiction in two things you said.
Here, you are hyper critical of Magma Matter claiming an ability that would confuse the night results. Magma Matter was in fact doing a townie thing by telling us "Hey folks, any targeting of me is gonna give bad results" NOW rather than on Day 2+.

However, in this post, you claim that lying is BAD and creates confusion for Town.

Please explain.  I think there is enough pressure on you that I don't need to vote you, but it is suspicious.
I dont see much of a contradiction unless you misinterpret the posts. Theres a time and place for everything but not know or how the saying goes.

MagmaMater because I want them to answer my question about TCK.

Oh!  haha, yes, that was a vote.

Here, FoS is blue... normally.  Precious and awesome Mater gave me the ability to have a blue -1 vote, a protective vote, that I cherished so much in that game he hosted for me (all of us... but for me!  That was a game designed to help me see how utterly awesome Mater is!  And it is how I know Mater is utterly awesome!!).

But unless there's some special ability someone has, the only color that really mechanically matters here is red for votes/unvotes.  And most will expect blue to usually mean 'if I had even 1 more vote right now, I'd be voting for you too!'

But yeah.  My family that I now live with.... you can throw colors or votes at me and I'll only react when I'm here and had enough time to catch up and read that far.  Reminder to self, I wanna go back and check over your many-questions post, see if any weren't answered yet.  But that has to happen later... about to go help family again.

Also: I think that I have been tricked at least twice by scum!MagmaMater, so feel free to wait until after you get your answer from MagmaMater to answer my question.

Mostly the fact Toony spoke up when Agentt hadn't really done anything to show towniness. It was literally Toony's only post till I poked them. While I could hope everyone in their is town more likely there may be scum given how last game played out with duelists.

@Imp: As someone who had to adapt from having a lot of time to play forum mafia to having rather limited time to do so, I have a bit of advice that might help: Try to carve out a half hour to an hour each real-life day, to check over the thread and ask questions, rather than just randomly jumping in without reviewing things.  Good luck balancing things!

@Tric: My view is that Toony is just pocketing Agentt and has no idea what the actual alignment of Agentt might be.  Toony as town likes to pocket players, then backfill his thoughts in later days if he still thinks their town.  The whole thing is Null in my eyes.

Why you die Vermilion? Imp says Vermilion is town. I can believe that.

Don't care about Magma's bus claim, not alignment indicative. Are their suspicions of Canadian Cat correct? I'm inclined to say no I must see more of the kitty.

What about Jack? And Jim? I feel Jack is better of the two because Jim has done nothing so far. I feel overwhelmed. It's a lot of players to try to understand...

Tric...are you a bad guy? You'd tell me to my face, wouldn't you?

Toony: Fallacy is the Devil and is out to claim my soul. I'm on a ticking timer, that I can accelerate to use power abilities, but I don't get affected by normal kills nearly as much.
