Heads up about me, somewhere between Tuesday and Thursday I start a long drive.  If the game's started by then, I will be PFP for approximately 4 days.  With essentially no discord access during that time.  My drive takes 3-4 days.  Once I land and get semi-settled, I have discord access and a chance to unwind and be me.

We all know we haven't gotten our role PM/alignment stuff yet.  So hopefully NAI-mercy is applied.  I will be scrambled and stressed for out of game reasons during my drive, maybe venting strongly.

And very much wanting to play/minimally able to play at the same time.

Apologies/forbearance to any mason/scum/otherchat buddies I may have or gain during those first few days, depending on when game exactly starts.  I tentatively think I'm 'normal' again around Monday next week.

How I feel about this whole move stuff, and how I feel about life right now, I absolutely must go kick some poo:

Hm, right. In light of the number of players compared to Egan's Hat Mafia, I'm raising the number of Hats needed for a Hat Tyrant victory from 4 to 5. Just to slow down the inevitable shenanigans a little bit.

Prototyping is currently underway. I have prototypes done for 6 out of 14 roles, and some of them I'm confident in. Others will probably need much more tweaking.

I officially have prototypes for every role. A few of them are mostly complete, others need a polishing, others need a heavy rework. After that, it'll be a balance and interaction pass...

As well as designing the pool of Hats.

Saturday is looking like the most likely start time.

The game could potentially end before I get landed and set up again?

I drive off in a few hours.  TricMagic, you better need more than a few days to conclude that Hat Tyrant thing.

I haven't even seen my role yet and there's TM probably already on the way to early-winning this thing.

I'ma be thinking that at least every 10th mile I drive... unable to do much about it so doin' what I can now :P votes TricMagic again
