I for one really do believe that if Kriss flips mafia, that would put Magma in heavy scum lean for me.

If Kriss is mafia, then who do you believe is his teammates?

I'm really not good at reading teams.  And I'm working on my reads of individual people.  Picking out entire teams has never been my strong point, but I have nailed individual anti-town quite a few times.

I dunno, and defense of someone doesn't mean they are any specific alignment.

This is my updated read on Mater, he's one of the ones I have caught up on:

Mater I am gambling is towny, low-medium confidence.  Could be either, but there's some nice clues this is town.  Medium confidence, could totally be fooled, but literally statistically this is probably towny.  Want to see more play from.  I will be intentionally and carefully crafting my magic action so if I am redirected to Mater I likely cannot affect him.  That's likely the case should I be redirected to just about anyone, but I'm actually thinking about it and preparing.  If anyone can figure out how to prevent Mater from getting changed; failing that if we want to throw away literally all abilities Mater has trapped, possibly including my magic, so that even if he dies they're not released, we can discuss that.  For now I work with the assumption I should leave Mater alone.

The ability I used last night is Innate so you can't modify it anyway.

Great.  I don't want anyone messing with you in a way that wipes your qualifier to return abilities if the condition's met, unless we like agree to play partially vanilla and we decide to go that way + it's possible - but hearing you're safe from others messing with you (I would not) is a relief.

I am of the opinion we should lynch Toaster today over anyone else. Failing that Vermillion.
Agentt, are you here to argue the point? Verm certainly isn't, and didn't bother to participate nearly as much in Theater as we did.
It's honestly a valid opinion. I actually realised that I can't use my pre conceived notion that we shouldn't question uncountered detective claims.

Even in a world that they aren't lying, it's definitely common for mafia to also have detective roles.

But Toaster also gives the vibe of someone who genuinely was just late/lost, and is picking up now? I do understand why you would want to push them though. Let me check their votes and think more about this.

Maybe count their posts and look at their contributions, and how many votes on them seemed maybe 'needed' before they even posted at all.

That said... this is a later problem.  If Toaster's town, YAY.  Dunno how to figure that out unless Toaster literally actually plays with us and it seems to take votes and aggression to get Toaster to talk, which is not something I want to see in a townie (or anti-town for that matter).  But Krr1ss today is my vast concern.

Is Kriss' behavior not explained by him just being new to the game? Maybe a bit of teen angst? I remember my very first game I screamed things like, "I have such a powerful role the town can't win without it"

@Imp:
I'm not always right. I'm just saying how I feel about things. You can rub in my face me being wrong about Webadict in that game over and over and it won't change anything. I'm giving you my opinion about how I feel about players, and I think that's a valuable opinion to have. Look at this game: My feelings about Cat and Sal being town was correct. If you want to value my opinion of Kriss that's completely up to you. I am unconvinced by your own opinion of Kriss because I think you're wrong.

Man I don't care about this game at all right now but I have to post.

End of Day 2 feelings:

With the knowledge that the mafiakill has a (Free) modifier.

Always town
Imp - I think very town
Krr1ss - I think very town

Probably good dude
Agentt - I don't know probably okay
Vermilion - probably okay

Magma dude
Magma - I trust Magma more than Jim

Maybe okay dudes
Jim - possibly okay
Tric - probably okay

Possibly bad guys
Toastercultist - I don't think they've played very well D2 at all so far, however they claim an innocent result on me, I kind of want to believe them but their D2 play doesn't make me happy
Crystal - I think they've been scummy but now I just feel like they're a mislynch
NQT - I don't know I think scummier than Tric
Jack - probably scum

I think there's one scum inside Tric/Verm/Agentt. However this doesn't align with my current reads so I'm not sure anymore. Probably Vermilion? I said it was probably either Cat or Verm on D1 and I don't think my opinion has changed now, so maybe Verm should my lower on my reads but whatever.

I think there's at least one scum inside Jack/NQT/Crystal/Toaster, if not more. Maybe even two or three.

I don't feel like giving some solid case on someone. I strongly disagree with a Kriss wagon so I will vote Crystal because that's a bigger wagon than NQT.

I'm sorry Crystal if you're town. Can you share your thoughts and who are your top suspects?

*search Toaster*
*come across Imp vs Kriss*

Well, atleast we know they aren't paired.

One thing I did find weird was Toaster's vote on NQT. I felt like that was just a strange jump.

Well, I guess I shouldn't have waited to post my claims.
Toastercultist:
  • Assess Tricmagic -> 1 Hat, Bloody Sunglasses
  • Investigate ToonyMan -> Innocent
Do you talk only when voted? Should I perma vote you just so you can grace us with your presence for just a bit more?

I talk when not voted as well, but voting of course gets my attention.

-snip-
Anyway, I want to point out something weird here.

- Early bandwagon on TricMagic, which had little justification but is probably just an honest mistake. This is what you said. How do you know that's a mistake? How do you know it's a honest mistake? For the record, I jumped onto the wagon purely because I wanted someone to be voted. No matter the alignment or game, I always push people with votes and probe and see what's going on. In fact, often, I am first to vote and/or change votes.

Also, you seemed quite focused on Magma matter. I remember during day1 your, a bit twisted, logic on voting Jack because of "aight magma, you are good guy" despite a suspicious post. Then, you completely tunneled on Jack ignoring Magma. Then now, you make a specific post about him and it feels as if you are trying to tell us how good of a guy Magma is with all that "Justified". The word itself feels scummy when talked about a person so much ngl.

Everyone else reading this, look at it carefully and see where I am coming from and tell me if you agree.

Also, this feels a bit tunnelly but there's really no other posts I can comment on so this is it.

I thought it was a mistake because you later didn't have much to back it except "I felt like it." As for why it was an honest mistake, you don't seem to be doing this thing anymore, and it was in the chaos of the RVS.
Hmm. The whole "justified" argument only shows that his posts are probably thought out and sincere. The word was quite repetitive so I get why you think so.

Well, I guess I shouldn't have waited to post my claims.
Toastercultist:
  • Assess Tricmagic -> 1 Hat, Bloody Sunglasses
  • Investigate ToonyMan -> Innocent

Inspecting the person responsible for saving you at the end of the day was certainly a choice.
Hmm.. Unvote
Question toaster, is this an alignment read or a killer read. Cause as noted in my own game they can differ. Killer investigation only triggers on people who have killed.

Alignment read, I only know if the person is town or not.

Now, nobody is sitting out. Tensions are high, and the shotgun sits menacingly upon the sofa you've found tucked away back here.

There is little time left, but it is always when time is shortest that fear is highest.

Who shall you kill?

I feel like Vermillion is the odd one out here, sorry Skies. But 6 posts for day 2 is not it when half of them are telling imp to improve you. And only a Kr1ss vote two days ago to be seen.
