Graphic mode doesn't work for me at all. All it shows is gray screens, proper text, and some garbled ASCII graphics.

ASCII mode works, but I can't see where I am during fast travel.

Also, no way of checking weather and time of day. (Or maybe they were the list to be added later?)

There's a widget in the top right corner for that

There's only a '?' for tutorials and a '☼' for save/quit/settings/etc. in the top right (ASCII mode).

Below that there's zoom toggles, magma/water level toggle and show tracks.

the bay12 build has all the art assets taken out of it is the major reason for graphic mode not working
one could make a graphic pack for the bay12build, or figure out how to port over the old graphic sets to df51.
did notice that the means to look/inspect at items on the floor is kinda missing or select which items to look at on the floor.

I saw that the steam version has had some updates since the release of January 23, are they also in the classic build downloadable on the site?

Thanks for the link, it's nice to follow this.
I understand why not republish a classic version!
I love the steam version, but the classic version is more discreet in certain circumstances when I'm not at home ha ha!
