However, I suspect Sal more highly than I did before.  For a few reasons, still read based and one goes back to Hyper.  I'll be vague but I really do recommend we consider Sal today.

I'll be moving my red off him if he gets traction; I understand people might care who hammers after seeing Juice's flip.  I'm willing to eat hammerstrike.

1+ player(s) now know something about me that I know that person/people know.

I claim I didn't see this coming and didn't make it happen.

I wonder if it'll get claimed.

I've got a big thing to say.

Salvatore, NJW and I are duelists. We have a shared chat. If any of us dies, the other two learn of each others' alignments. We kept this secret in case scum didn't know, as I figured it was most likely a case of delayed mason team, for mod-design-guessing reasons. NJW and Salvatore agreed (which I suppose they would if they were scum). That's why I've been soft on the pair all game.

Juicebox's flip shows that mafia know all the genre rules AND have a way to mess with them, so there was no advantage IMO to keeping it secret anymore.

Additionally:

- Someone disabled two of my action abilities at the start of last night
- Juice's gives us a huge insight into the scum rules. I'd like everyone to reflect on how their General abilities might be messed with by the mafia.
- Tric told us the exact named abilities he used each night, so we can reconstruct a lot based on that
- Imp joined the duelist chat at the end of last night. This could well be the way in which scum are able to mess with our genre, by peeking the chat.
- PPE— Imp is claiming she was added to it without her knowledge. Padding the group with another player when one of the existing duelists is scum would also make sense as a power. That might explain Imp's vote. Imp, are you now a duelist?

Imp, are you now a duelist?

I gained that genre last night for no reason or cause I know.  I could not have done it to myself, it's out of my range.

My Hyper-based concern increase on the Sal slot's because of what Hyper said/didn't say in the duelist chat compared to the activity in the forum thread before his replace out.

I had concerns on the Sal slot before then.

I confirm I was not peeking the slot.

I also thought NJW's claim about 'if I die 2 others learn their alignment' was a dig at what he was imagining narrative did.  That's my trap card comment back on D2.  Then, I didn't know maf know all genre, and I thought he was trying to figure out how my flip might help cement town and thought he was fishing with that guess.

I was wrong about that.

Duelist genre exists!  I am now a duelist.  I see some mechanical disappointing issues about this.  Very sorry.  I didn't make this happen or see it coming.

I should say, I was provisionally happy to act as if we were all masons, despite my reservations of both NJW and Hyper/Salvatore both privately and here in the the thread (Imp can confirm these reservations). There were other good scum candidates (like Juice) so I thought it more likely they were town, but I wasn't 100% on that.

The information revealed by Juice's flip, Salvatore and NJW's voting patterns, and Imp's arrival in the chat has changed my view. They might both still be town, but there's not as compelling mechanical reason to believe so.

Imp, take the time to read through the duelist chat carefully.

It may well still be that all 4 duelists are town, and padding the roster means scum can kill any one of us without creating a mason pair. But it could be to protect a hidden member— I'm interested in people's thoughts on this.

Also, unrelated, but was the Euchrejack blocking mystery resolved last night?

I targeted someone with an ability that did nothing tonight, but may be useful subsequent nights. I can claim more if there’s a reason to, but I don’t currently see one.

The duelist thing is weird. Scum appear to have genre-spanning powers (see Juicebox’s flip) so I’m quite wary there. NQT’s rationale for scum trying to prevent it going down to two makes sense… though it could also be that if Sal flipped, we’d have too many cleared players.

I think we need to hear CM’s claim.

I was unable to check Salvador and Euchrejack's alignment because I was prevented from acting that night.

I think it's one of Euchrejack and Salavtore Monday. Of the two, I think it's salvatore monday because I feel that their suspicion of Euchrejack wasn't genuine and make town doubt that Euchrejack and Imp aren't town.

Gonna unvote now because I have a somewhat busy few/many hours ahead and I am very anti-early hammer.  I still for now support this elim.

I gotta roll back my concern about Hyper not talking in the duelist chat.  While he could have before he replaced out, the window's pretty small and reasonable he had whatever he was replacing out for to keep him busy, so that's null.  My concern about Sal overall is high; I announced that we likely flipped Sal today.  That COULD be a reason, especially if Sal is maf, for another player to be added to duelist; I presume that was not done by town (and perhaps that's how maf counters that genre, at a guess).

NQT, you've seen me be successful maf once.  Umm.  How crazy did I play that game, and on the scale of reasonable to off the rails weird, how do you rank my typical town play and what do you think of my typical (so far) maf play?  And do you have any particular reasons to think I'd prefer to play really oddly if maf?  And do you not think I play pretty oddly as town?

This is interesting. Who do you think blocked you?

Just to be clear, you didn't perform any actions last night?

I am expressly claiming 'nothing else to report'. I may or may not have made any actions last night.  Whatever the result of any actions, if I took one+, is nothing to report.
