My pros and cons for lynching Juicebox are...

Pro-Lynch: Juicebox is fucking useless
Anti-Lynch: Juicebox is fucking useless

I suspect that Juicebox is now unable to do any night action, so I would rather lynch mafia that can kill over a possibly useless townie.

Unvote, I'm not quite convinced but it's plausible that you just haven't been paying attention. It's really annoying that like 5/11 players lurked through D1 and three of them proceeded to also lurk through D2.

For the record, I haven't posted a readlist of my own in a while since it's mostly just a bunch of question marks (this is not good!). After a questionable D2 showing NJW is also a question mark but I can buy that he's just fed up with the thread.

juicebox: Post your reads.

I support a Juice elim today.  Not strongly enough to put my red vote there at this moment.  I'm still very confused, maybe we hear more stuff that helps.

This is a placeholder so we can get more votes on Juicebox for those who want to vote there, if folks do.  I am not saving this player.  I don't know that he's the best vote.  Just like my blue vote was a butterfly D2, it might be again today too.

From what I read of FoU's flip.

if Fou, conf town, used
Found Minor City (Active)
Barely more than an inn on the side of the road, this village should at least serve to orient travelers.
Target another player. Mark their current location; thenceforth, any player who ends the night at that location will be informed of their location.
as FoU claimed, which I believe:

If things worked right, I among others maybe should have been told where we were.  Starting N2, because it says thenceforth and he used it N1.

So I'm not there anymore or that was prevented from working somehow - I was again not told my location.

Maf own the night, which sucks.  Hope we flip some.  I do bet Juice is one; I just want us to have plenty of time to talk and what other use is my pretty blue vote but to float around like a well-controlled butterfly.

I believe this is the current votecount:

(1) Juice:  Elephant Parade, Crystalizedmire, -imp
(1) Imp:  TricMagic
(1) NJW: Imp

My pros and cons for lynching Juicebox are...

Anti-Lynch: Juicebox is fucking useless

I like this.  Except... I wonder about people immune to roleblocks.  Pretty sure that could exist.

Last night I stopped Verm and Juicebox targeting TricMagic.

NJW2000 is scum.

They were clear to identify that they acted upon Verm, who is now dead.  And if they indeed targeted Juicebox, they would have been roleblocked like Tric.
NJW2000 killed Verm.

I can buy this, but couldn't they have ended up at VS's location rather than Juicebox's?

I have no idea.
That would require Juicebox to actually post something.
So we'll never know

Magma Mater: If someone used a multi-target nonfree Personal Ability on targets spread over multiple locations, where would they move?

Quote
Each player has a location. When a player uses a non-free Personal Ability to visit another player, they travel to where that player was at the start of the night. At the end of each night, including Night 0, you learn each player's location. On Night 0, send me a ranked list of every player in the game, along with your preferred location for them. I will compile the preferences of each player with this ability to determine the starting location of each player. Players closer to the top of your ranked list are more likely to be given your preferred location. The locations are North America, South America, Africa, Eurasia, and Oceania.

Last night I stopped Verm and Juicebox targeting TricMagic.

I suspect Verm died because they were very publically checking claims against locations, and scum wanted to lie about their night actions without being caught out. If anyone else has the Global Campaign genre, they'd be wise to keep quiet about it.

Is there a challenge today? Nothing about magma's post suggests there is, and it would be weird if we weren't told about it.
Why these targets?

I'm still thinking it's NJW2000, but I was clearly blocked last night:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

NQT identified Crystal as a Eurogamer, and Crystal appears to confirm it.  If I had not been blocked, NQT would have gotten an inspect on ME, because I used Punch on Crystal, which switches the targets of abilities used on Crystal and myself.

...it could also be a mod error where someone tried to block Crystal, and the mod ruled that I would be blocked and all other actions would revert to their original targets.

Both Tric and myself seem to have reported the same result, so we were probably both blocked and the Mod's just a bastard(ish)

Such an ability would say, "target x and choose y,z,α...". The player they chose as the target would be where they move.

If NQT is scum.

Totally possible. The flip I know anything right now.  I'm so confused.

But if NQT is maf he... I'm impressed.  He used a pretty good translation of imp-speak with just a few weird-bits to try and talk to me in my own language.

Course, surely he could.  Impressed he'd try if he's maf, like, they're doing okay right now and am I that dangerous?  Or just that tempting to fish for?  I dunno.

I wanna say I lean townier on NQT today?  He's bein' silly but he's singing songs in nearly impspeak.  That's endearing. And unnecessary?

I dunno, I'ma stay confused a bit and listen more.  Whaaaaaaaaaa.

Unfortunately, I seem to be the one causing the confusion and being confused.  Now I know how you feel.
So, I think I'll follow your lead and do the same.

Tric, I can't believe I tried to stop people interfering with you. Protect scum, kill town indeed.

Regarding FoU's question at the end of D2 - I was informed where I was, yep. But looking at their role, they should have already known that?

...it could also be a mod error where someone tried to block Crystal, and the mod ruled that I would be blocked and all other actions would revert to their original targets.
This seems extremely unlikely, no?

NJW: Well, who did you target?

I targeted TricMagic, to move my quasi-protect onto them.

I get the directional block thing on Verm for free, because I put it on them N1. Adding Juicebox to it didn't require targeting them last night. My role is slow and slightly confusing, but can end up with me blocking a bunch of people from acting on someone.

I don't entirely trust either of them. Although the Verm thing was more because I could thanks to N1 - Juicebox was the one I chose last night. Juicebox is one of my stronger scumreads, even after FoU's flip.

I stopped them targeting Tric because I assumed scum would be quite likely to target the player using the Challenge. Redirecting Tric onto a town player could lead to a day where only town could be eliminated.

Tric: you seem to think you'd have been informed if you were blocked. Why?

I don't love NQT immediately throwing out night results without an obvious motivation. They were talking about keeping roleclaims to a minimum earlier.

As far as I know, I am not immune to anything.Did you try to act on me last night?
I bugled you. The action went through, I didn't get roleblocked. However one of my personal abilities should have unlocked. Specifically my Narrative Ability. It happens when I've used two Family abilities successfully. Rather obviously it was not used successfully. Likewise my backup ability didn't trigger due to someone else using Bugles.

The answer can be deduced. Something interfered with my ability to force a vote thunderdome. And only one person has shown that, Imp.

I really don't want to believe it, but all signs point to you.

Is this just because Imp has a vote-related power?

Tric, that is incredible flimsy, and you know it >:(

With Verm cleared, Juicebox being blocked is the natural explanation for the N1 kill. Only question is who blocked them... nobody claimed it.

I guess it could be Juicebox tries to kill EJ, runs into a protect, claims to have been blocked (or actually thinks they were?). That would involve scum just... ignoring the fact EJ was very likely to be protected, and not claiming an action on a night without a kill. Which seems very stupid, but you never know.

Hmm. We really need to hear from Juicebox.
