My eval: he's honestly, earnestly, and sincerely moving towards a town win, flavored by his role and other info he has, in his own playing style.  I don't see/feel a single thing that doesn't fit within that.

Your case on why NJW is townie is worse; your case for why Juice is town (and wow you must think that player is down.  You could have ensured he was elim - wasn't just FoU who said 'nah, Juice can live') is even worse than your NJW town-case.

Despite my vote, I'm not ready for the day to end.  Nor do I particularly want anything from it except the flip it likely leads to.

NJW, it's not over, if you're town just play to your wincon and hopefully most of us will see/feel/get it and you'll be fine.

Right now I'd entirely accept an EP elim or a juice elim; juice is purely carry-over from D1.

In case you're town.  I think we all get it, you think I'm as scum as the day is long (dang we got long days this game, which in general I like).

I think you've put more energy in your day game into pushing me as scum than everything you've done besides that.

I recommend you put some energy into other stuff.  Because if you're town, I can totally tolerate you.  But it would be awesome if your day game was useful.

I haven't presented a case for NJW being town, but I haven't been asked for that case, and I haven't delivered paragraphs of exposition on how town I think he is. I just put him at the top of my readlist. You've spent a lot of time declaring VS's towniness, and I've asked for an evidence-based case on him being town twice now, I think, so it's weird to me that you haven't presented one. That's the difference.

Juicebox I explicitly said was town by POE, not because I got a strong town impression from him, and in my readslist I mention that his lurking D1 was mitigated by the fact that he was offline for most of that period—the exact kind of concrete detail I've been asking for.

I've tunneled you more than I'd like, even under the circumstances, but I've still pushed other players more than, say, Hyper, VermillionSkies, FallacyofUrist, EuchreJack, CrystallizedMire, or juicebox have. And that's more than half the players in the game, so saying my day game isn't useful is a little irksome.

Magma Mater, Oliverz144, VermilionSkies, Wolfkey, I have the same question for all of you. Since I've never played with any of you before I'd like for you to tell me what your mafia playstyle is like.

I don't think I've played enough Mafia to have a particular playstyle, really, but I do enjoy the process of understanding what people mean with their actions.
I do believe I'm too passive most of the time, though.

That said, I am curious. Magma, how are you so certain of your claim this early?

I'm not certain how Magma is making town-reads, either. Imp and FoU I can understand having an idea of, as they have a fairly wide breadth of posts to look through, but I have made one singular post and Max has typed a grand total of 11 words so far this game.

I'm curious if this is an actual take, or if this is trying to bait out something?

Fallacy seems a little strange, but like they're being strange with a purpose behind it. I don't understand what they're doing, but they're doing something. Unsure.
You, Imp, seem fairly reliable to me? You've actively questioned most posts without a clear purpose, and don't seem to be pushing for a lynch without information. Town.
Max has only posted one joke and one vague reply to a vaguer statement. Feels scummy to me, but I have zero evidence and even less room to judge for not posting much.
Interrupted mid-post - Magma, I haven't the faintest idea of what your plan is. You state that you have a lot of solid reads with no visible evidence to back any of them up. Unsure.
Also, I leave my computer and it's tabs open while doing other things. I've been doing laundry between posts.
4mask feels like they're trying to hit a post quota to avoid getting questioned for inactivity. They do have solid posts between the one-line quota ones, though. Town?

If there were only one ghost, then it could be explained as being part of their role to start, and any additional ones afterwards came from their abilities.
The fact that there are two means that they either independently have ghost mechanics, or they were both made into ghosts by an ability, potentially during night zero.
That's what I find odd about it, at least.

Night zero was probably actionless, but that isn't a guarantee. From the night zero post:

N0 will last as long as I need to send out the PMs, answer role questions etc. Probably ~24 hours. Unless I tell you otherwise, this is an actionless phase.

VermilionSkies - Feels wrong x3.  This could be due to the travelling he's been doing???  This is not any Vermillion I have played with before, to my feel.  I think this may be anti-town, but I'm going purely on feel and reaction and the differences between my meta-connection-sense of Verm in other games, where from first-contact I read him likely town and he was.  Definitely willing to look longer/look more.  But this feels wrong, kinda bigtime.

General abilities seem very strong.

Nothing to do with Family, I'm Global Campaign.
I think Imp is the same, but I'm not certain.
All of my actions have to do with Locations.

The location list is really funny. For related reasons, we shouldn't lynch Tric today.

I am not interested in taking anything from the auction.

Okay, so!
I don't have any mechanical information on Tric's alignment, but they are in a spot that's very convenient for my nightgame if they're left alive.
Said nightgame is directly helpful to the town.

Imp continues to haunt my mafia games like some sort of phantom. Please stop correctly reading me D1, it's getting uncanny.

EP, I'm not entirely against the idea, it just feels a little too vulnerable to hijacking for me to be comfortable with it.

2. If we're really going for the auction, I want the hospital.

EP: Imp this game is... honestly, NAI for me.
They're willing to throw out reads like that regardless of what faction they're in, from what I've seen, and walls of texts aren't uncommon either.
That said, I think they're playing more like CYOM or CYOS2 Imp than MVM Imp this game. Mild townlean, maybe?

I'd like a little more than what we have from Juicebox. Same with Hyper, but I like what they've put out more than what Juice has.
Fair warning, if the Hospital opens up I'm grabbing it. It's too valuable to not take.

EP feels townlean to me. At least, enough so that I wouldn't have too many grievances with them taking the Smithy.

I'm going to be entirely honest, my main towntell for Imp so far is willingness to type a lot.
They get very passionate as town, as it shows up as walls of text, which I'm seeing a lot of here, and didn't see nearly as much of, looking back in retrospective of MVM.
I don't have enough of anything else to be willing to put it up as official reasoning.

About the Auction: I wasn't willing to open Pandora's Box. Once the Darkroom was taken, though, and especially now that the Butchery has been as well, I'm acknowledging that if we are going to try for the Sheriff's Office, I want the Hospital on the way down.
I'm not interested in any of the rest of it, though.

About Locations: Locations are not abilities attached to a role, but a 'state' you can be in. There are five Locations, to my knowledge. I should have been able to decide the starting Locations of everyone, but either there is another person who was voting on it, or the list was always going to be somewhat randomized.

That's not a deep dive. That's a series of quotes with no commentary, including every post VS had made this game. I admittedly did not bother actually reading the quotes when I saw there was no commentary, which was counteproductive and dumb; let me fix that.

That was worth looking at but it hasn't really changed my mind. VS isn't asking endless aimless questions like in BYOS2, but they also aren't seeking out engagement with people like in BYOM and MVM4.
