Tric: If you want NJW lynched enough to thunderdome him, why haven't you been pushing him today, outside of a single post early on?

We're getting close to the deadline so I'll put my cards on the table: some of juice's reads have progressed in a way that makes no sense to me.

Okay, so reads.

Let's do the easiest first.

I'm reading Imp as town here. They're playing well within their town meta in my opinion. They are contributing quite a lot to the discussion and they have also been pretty forthcoming with information

I also think that NJW is town as well. I like what they've been posting and their reads list appears to be well thought out.

Hyper, on the other hand is a scumlean for me. Being inactive for a good portion of the day and then voting someone else who is inactive when prodded is not a good look.

Elephant Parade I'm also scumleaning as well. I don't like that they're tunneling Imp, who is my main town read, and I also don't like how they have been pushing people to participate in the auction but haven't really committed to it themselves. It definitely could be a ploy to get town to use up their votes and get more voting power for the scumteam

Vermillion is another slight townlean, while they're posts haven't been amazing, their laser focus on getting hospital and willingness to share information do seem township to me

EuchreJack is a slight townlean for me. They have some decent posts, they seem to be starting to form some reads .

CM, is null for me while their focus on the auction to the detriment of scumhunting is a bit suspicious, I don't thinknthat's really enough to scumread them for.

Fallacy is also null, they have been unusually quiet, and they're not up to their usual shenanigans, but I think I need to see a bit more from them before I townread them.

Tric is a hard one for me. While their play to take Darkroom is within their town meta, I have a gut feeling that this may be scumTric using their town meta as a smokescreen. Only a slight scumlean for now, but I definitely have my eyes on them

And finally NQT. They're always a hard one for me to read. I think in this case they're a slight townlean. They've also been focused on the auction, but unlike Elephant Parade, they've actually been willing to use their vote in the auction which makes me trust them more
My Reads are as follows:

Town:
NJW: I have no idea what Imp sees here. NJW is my strongest townread at this point. They've constantly been pushing cases and trying to solve the game

Elephant Parade: They've calmed down a bit since D1. They weren't been tunneling on Imp like D1 but instead entertained a couple of different cases D2

Not Sure:

Tric: I'm never too sure about Tric, their behavior is so erratic that I'm never sure if I'm reading them correctly. Maybe I'll get a feel for them eventually but at the moment I don't know

Salvatore Monday: Hasn't posted much. A decent observation here or there but not enough for me to townread them

Imp: Because of my Jack read below, I don't know if I can trust the town inspect on Imp anymore. Imp hasn't done anything outright scummy yet though, so I'm nullreading them for now.

Scum:
Jack: I'm starting to lean scum on Jack now. I definitely wasn't blocked last night. Also they initially said that they targeted Salvatore Monday N1, when they had actually targeted me. And while they did explain it away as mistyping I think they may be lying about their actions in an attempt to confuse us.

CM: They've done nothing to change my initial read on them. They've barely been more active than me and hasn't stated any suspicions on anyone who isn't me.

@NQT I wouldn't trade resources with them. I don't trust them enough to give them any resources.

@Imp I wanted to gather information on CM since I thought that they were suspicious
Why has Tric gone from a slight scumlean to an I-can't-read-this-player null? Why has Imp been reduced to unsure due to inspect doubts when she was a townread before the inspect? Nothing has happened to change juice's initial scumread on CM but his initial read of her read was null, not scum! (He did scumread her D2, however.)

I'm slightly puzzled to have gone from strongest scumread to second-strongest townread when I spent D2 pushing for the lynch of someone who flipped town, but the rationale provided makes sense. I don't really understand how Salvatore is a "meh, need more info" when Hyper, the player they replaced, was a scumlean. NJW and EJ are perfectly sensible.

The mitigating factor here is that eight days is kind of a long time. Still, I think these are just words on a page, not actual thoughts from someone who doesn't know everyone's alignment.

Elephant these types of questions are why I'm thinking you aren't town. What am I supposed to do, go on old reads from N2? At the moment it's not entirely clear, so putting my vote on the one I think isn't playing the same game in the first place. This whole thing about Juice/Monday not being roleblocked when it would mean Jack/I got roleblocked doesn't make sense. That's way too many roleblocks. While they could have been redirected both, I don't think that's what happened. So info-wise flipping Juice makes far more sense to me.

As it's near end of day, I'll also be taking the Ice Cream tonight.

I'm going to vote juicebox now, since my head is bothering me and I can't be sure I will check in later.

I mean, if the challenge had gone through, you would have literally had no choice but to do that, so I'd have expected the read to be strong enough for you to push it a little. That you pretty much haven't is surprising.

I want Ice Cream so I can get it as a 3-shot ability, as I explained earlier.

Although I have another strong personal ability starting tonight, so I'm not going to fight you to the death over it or anything.

NQT: It's five to hammer. I'm not putting Juicebox at L-1, and I'm still trying to figure out where else I'd want an elim in crystal, you and salvatore. But basically, I want Juicebox eliminated, and outside of D1, I vote where I intend to lynch.

You keep bringing up arbitrary vote-related metrics without checking if they have any bearing on the reality of the game. It's like you subcontracted PwC to do your scumhunting.

Also, when you go from this:
Shooting from hip: TricMagic*/Juicebox/Crystal, with the latter two hard-bussing because they know they're both the weakest links. (Do I really believe this? Not with any certainty. But Juice really should go.)

*or Godfather Imp  :(

To this:

I think this is a more-or-less compelling reason to keep Crystal and Euchrejack alive for today.
?

Do you trust CM now they've claimed an investigative power? Because I don't see why you'd wait for someone you've scumread heavily for the past two days to give an investigative result you probably won't believe.

Regarding locations - I was in Oceania at the start of D2 - does that help?

Ninja'd by EJ - that's one from hammer, I think. Please don't hammer yet.

CrystrallizedMire: apologies if I've missed an account of this, but why didn't you use this inspect-ish ability earlier in the game?
My inspectish ability consumes resources. I decided to collect resources on n1 because I predicted that lots of people would target me last night. I was wrong. And then I have to place a worker on one player and then another on another player to actually check. So far, I've only placed one worker.

Checking in, confirming I'm here and thinking.  I just woke, scanned for votes.  JUICE IS L-1 and we have more time to talk.

I do think Juice is scum.  I do want the hammer near end of day not soon.

Is he the best maf to kill today?  Unsure.  But he's probably the one we get and omg argh if he's not maf, except if he's town and playing this way how do we endgame with him - he wasn't this bad in BYOAlignment even though he was off and needed others to help him think there (and he was 'solo anti-imp' there, imp dies for him to win, no team, but he was hunted himself, Crystal couldn't win while he was alive and was clear about that from D1).

I just woke up.  I need time to read and think and do stuff.

CM: I still read you as scum, but if you're town and you want to shake my scumread, you're going to have to give me more material to read, which means engaging with other players on non-mechanical topics (but, importantly, not in a forced way).

Definetly not the best maf to kill today but is the one that I'm sure is maf. He doesn't seem to have much in terms of connections that we can gather to find the other maf.

Mater, votecount please? I really want to see the current time to EoD so I don't have to calculate such a huge chunk of time.

What do you think of Sal's read on Juice?

What do you think of Sal's read on Juice?
Interesting. Could you post a full readlist? I don't think you have yet and I'd like to know where you're at.
As long as you don't expect me to make it colorful and nicely formatted.

Not counting myself, I have the most trust for Elephant Parade (you!) and notquitethere. NJW2000 is a close third. Some other players suspect him a lot, but from reading other games, I think this is exactly how he acts as town.
Toward juicebox I'm totally neutral. I think he could easily be scum flying under the radar, but he may just as well not bother to play as town, too. Probably his slot will have to be resolved one way or another eventually, and I wouldn't say it would be a bad idea to do it today.

Tric and Imp are hard to describe. Close to neutral, and for each of them I'm not sure whether to say above or below juicebox, or what order between them. Tric feels vaguely off somehow, and Imp, despite being at pains to appear townie and helpful, keeps shooting out in directions I don't really make sense out of. These would be the two I would be most eager to flip nonfatally, if it were possible to do it without the risk of killing a potentially important town player.

Finally, EuchreJack and Crystal I'm incessantly suspicious of. I haven't been able to shake it from the start. That's why I tried to get info on Jack last night, of course. Other than my observations about Jack's claim not lining up, though, this is at least 70% gut feel. I guess all my reads really are, though.
I think Salvatore's read of juicebox makes sense since they're both lurkers. The one read I'm more interested in is with Euchrejack. My reading is that they can't both be on the same mafia team.
Everyone: Should I check if they have matching alignments or should I pick someone other than salvatore?
