So I'm going to be looking at Elephant Parade and Imp, but probably Elephant Parade.

Why not look at Fallacy?  Do you think Fal is town, and if so, why?

So, I was thinking that Fallacy's action last night was confirmed due to my abilities being scrambled, but then I noticed that Vermillion apparently should do something to buff his scumbuddy, so now I'm not sure.

What does confirming Fal's action N3 have to do with if Fal is anti-town or not?
Oh, I dunno, I thought it might have meant something. What do you think about Fallacy's Night actions?

I guess you see whoever scrambled you as antitown for sure?  It wasn't me either way.  I don't have a scramble or change others ability I can use now or at any point earlier.

I'm confused as heck and trying to decide if I wanna vote you or FoU, given things have changed.

Oh, I dunno, I thought it might have meant something. What do you think about Fallacy's Night actions?

What might it mean in your thinking?

I think FoU is very interested in having confirmed actions and nearly infinitely focused on getting hats out.  You also killed a person who hasn't worn one of FoU's hats yet, and couldn't be forced to, if I understand right and there isn't some other ability that could force that I don't know about.

Hm, so Fallacy would then scramble my abilities and try to get me voted out because I can't be forced to wear one of Fallacy's stupid hats either.

FoU is currently forcing a trade to you of a hat for random item.

However, I am not sure which of you I'm voting or if it matters.  If one of you is town or if you're both apparently different flavors of evil or what.

FoU, what's going on and what are your thoughts?

I think... Jack needs to full claim. He's the only player left that hasn't done so.

I really don't see how giving him a copy of my Industrial Position auto could have screwed him over, but what do I know? Game's a mess, and some roles have really weird mechanics.

Just going by process of elimination, though, it's really unlikely the first person to vote Vermillion was his scum partner, barring some ridiculous bus play, so I'll probably vote Jack.

Oh, and if Jack is scum, and has a vote greater than 1, we can still execute him, but he'll be able to force the revive through on Verm, which would be... bad.

I guess this is the game we're playing now. We hammer Jack, Jack revives Verm, and then...

Well, one of us gets mafkilled during the Night, and come Day 5, it's a 1-1 situation.

So that's kinda a problem.

NQT.

A player who is elim, does their wager (if any) count towards the bidding of who gets ressed?

Well...

Not... necessarily?

Revolving Door Policy states that players are revived at the end of the Day.

notquitethere: Does the revival happen before or after the execution? If after, will an executed player's vote still be spent to revive their choice of target if they win?

Yes, that.

I currently think I am voting Jack.

I don't believe that wagers from the executed will matter, but they could.

I am town.  One of two things will happen, I think...

We have a maf alive.  They win when town cannot win.  Maf has not won yet.  So there is at least 1 way, no matter how unlikely, for town to win.

We have two anti-town alive.  And they are not teamed?  I mean, you two didn't just hammer me, so I presume you're not teamed even if you are both anti-town (and thanks).

But apparently you can't win together, either because one of you is town, or because you are anti-town that can't win together, yay.

I don't really thiiiiiiink Jack's showing town reasoning.

And I don't know what to think about FoU's reasoning.

So I think I could potentially face two anti-town.  But if either is maf, which seems likely that Verm has a partner since Gains team did.  Maf didn't win yet.  So there's a way town could win.  Just gotta find it.

Therefore, I think I support elim of Jack.  FoU may be anti-town too, but even if so, there's clearly a way town could win.

I think that path is on the elim Jack route, if FoU is indeed anti-town.

If Jack's town, then the most likely town win is elim FoU.  But dang Jack the heck I don't see/feel town for days now.

So I'm confused but lean towards hearing more from you both; as stands, I lean elim Jack, but I am listening and thinking intensely.

I'm probably going to vote Jack, but it can at least wait until his fullclaim.

Cancel Trade. I'd rather keep my options open.

Would take 2 people to hammer, far as I know.  2 to hammer I guess.  I am not ready to vote yet.

I totally note that FoU wants a hat to go to whomever is alive if possible.  Totally understood.  I mean, I don't know what the hats achieve for FoU other than an attempt to win through the claimed second wincon.  I don't know what the behavior means for the later parts of the game, but I do recognize 'This is a primary goal' behavior when I see it.
